I am on my 2nd opinion. First was 11 months of Ibrance and Letrozole. That Duo did not seem to last as long as my Oncologist Thought, however I liked it because there was not really alot of side effects. What should I expect with Afinitor and Exemastane ?

Welcome JP, I think it's special that you joined on the Fall Equinox and I Love your photo. Your Spirit looks Bright and a lot of Fun.

I don't have any experience with Afinitor and Exemastane, perhaps a member will show up who does and offer their experience.

I'm on my 6th cycle of Ibrance and Letrozole after starting in April shortly before my 60th Birthday on June 20th.

So far it's working for me with cancer lesions diminishing from my bones and my tumor marker is dropping slowly but surely. Steady as she goes.

I was on a trial that included those 2 drugs and another one similar to ibrance. The trio gave me horrible side effects and had to stop but hopefully just the two won’t be an issue. I did get a lot of headaches and they attributed that to the affinitor. I hope I didn’t scare you but with just the two it should be different. And I love your picture and smile.
