Got my "official " diagnosis today....even though I full suspected it. I will have a baseline ct scan the end of the month then see my dr in Jan 2019. We will do blood draws every 4 mos. WBC actually reduced from 42.6 to 30.9 in 5 weeks and absolute lymphocytes reduced from 32 to 22. Still high but reduced naturally. Do I begin my new normal...she said go live like you have been! Continue to plan your daughter's wedding and see you after the holidays! I'm doing ok

You’re not doing OK Pat, you’re doing GREAT!! Fantastic news 😃👍
That is good news! It’s now just the waiting game like me. My figures are similar to yours and I am seen by the haematology consultant every six months and have bloods done every 3 months). I was diagnosed in Oct 2016.....tiredness every now and again and the odd ear infection are my only symptoms so far!
Very best wishes x
That's what you want to hear! Now do you need dance lessons for your daughters wedding?
Haha. Thank you
Hi Pat,
So glad to hear of your news! I’m new here and was diagnosed just this last Monday with cll. My wbc and absolute counts are similar to yours so I’m curious if you were doing anything proactive to bring them down? (supplements, diet etc...) I have my BMB and CT scan on Wednesday to get my baseline and then we’ll see. My best to you and thanks!
