Hi I am new here and this is my first post. I was diagnosed in 2008 with Type IIB, had double mastectomy, then two years later a full hysterectomy (BRCA gene). Then really was NED for 10 years. After reaching the 10 year milestone, I had a reoccurrence in my lungs and I am stage IV. Started on Faslodex

Magestrol acetate
Has anyone had experience with this drug? It’s progesterone based. I was just switched to it as the Ibrance/ faslodex stopped working ( over the year it had shrunk all 8 tumors) yet now have 3 new tumors in spine. Also started radiation again( SABRT) it’s very targeted and strong so only get zapped

SUN- THE DEVILS BARGAIN
I have been plagued by many, many skin cancers, most squamous cell type. I have had a lot of sun exposure throughout my life which I loved and enjoyed, and now I am really paying the price with removals every 3 months; there are still about 6 or 7 left needing treatment. I found some research indicating

Letrozol / fulvestrant
I've had 9 rounds of fulvestrant and ibrance but because my husband has been redundant I've lost my private health care and have to go back into the NHS. Under their rules I have to swap to letrozol and ibrance, though my new oncologist has told me that he can prescribe fulvestrant when letrozole stops

5 years still here
It’s been 5 years since I was diagnosed stage IV her2+ breast cancer. I still get infusions every 21 days of herceptin and perjeta but they are keeping me here in this life. My scan earlier this month was clear and my echocardiogram was normal. Had my last medical appointment for 2018 last week, woohoo

Recovery is hard
I am 6 days post hospital trip where I was diagnosed with viral meningitis. I have been on bed rest & attempted to go back to work yesterday. Bad idea, I almost passed out. I am now finding that I get lightheaded even talking to people. If I don’t stop then I feel that I will faint. I also have difficulty
