Liver scan after finding new growths after cat scan?
I had breast cancer in 2015. Beat it. Had APL leukemia in 2017. Beat it. Found out in Nov 2018 that my breast cancer had metastasized to my sternum. Went on Ibrance, Xgeva, and faslodex. My cancer markers dropped dramatically. Then, at my June labs, it showed that my cancer markers had nearly doubled

Hello!
My name is Lisa and I’m a 48 year old woman from East Boston, MA. I was diagnosed as having metastatic breast cancer (already spread to bone) on May 1 of last year (2018). It was a total shock and it still feels surreal. I already suffer from Major Depressive Disorder and Anxiety, for which I’ve been

worried about markers / possible treatment change
Hello again,, MBC dx to bone and lymph 1/2016. Did Arimidex for almost 2 years, then faslodex/ibrance for 14/16 months. Last xgeva 12/18 due to ONJ (that story is in it's own post). My markers have been inching up from 65 to 71 on the faslodex/ ibrance. PET on 5/4 came back "basically stable" no new

Lumpectomy v therapeutic mammoplasty TNBC
I am about to have my last neo adjuvant chemo of carbo/paclitaxel (12 weeks) which followed 5 x FEC and now anxiously considering surgery. Surgeon at 1st mentioned lumpectomy but also discussed therapeutic mammoplasty ... which he seemed to be more towards following my ultrasound. Seems that he can

Newly-Approved Drug for HR+, HER2- PI3K Mutant MBC
Some good news about a therapy that was just approved in the US (hopefully other countries to follow!) The PI3K (or PIK3CA) mutation is frequently found in metastatic breast cancer tumors, and it can be diagnosed via a liquid biopsy or a tumor biopsy. Until recently, there has not been an approved

Seeking advice about Xeloda dosing and side effect management.
After two months on Faslodex/Ibrance my CA 15-3 is skyrocketing and liver mets are increasing. I will probably be starting oral Xeloda very soon. I would really appreciate hearing from those of you who have used it. I weigh about 128 lbs (58 kilos) and have heard that the dose is based upon body size

Reconstruction without expanders
Greetings Everyone! I had a mastectomy of my left breast in Dec 2017. At the time all I could think about get rid of the cancer! I said I wasn't interested in implants, however my surgeon said he left some skin in case I changed my mind. So now over a year later, I cannot stand the prosthetic breast

My cancer markers have been slowly rising for the last 3 months, but this lab showed they've doubled. My wbc counts and neuts are 2 and.8
This all terrifies me as I recovered from APL leukemia only to have breast cancer return four months later. I've been on faslodex, xgeva, and ibrance since November of 2019. Counts were ok until April when my cancer markers started slowly rising. I had a UTI, so oncologist was not too worried. This lab

My last labs revealed a WBC count of 2, but my neuts were at .8. Has anyone every had this happen on Ibrance and Faslodex?
Really worried since I now have metastatic breast cancer after recovering from APL leukemia.

Ramipril and Ejection Fraction
After recent MRI, EP said he was happy with what he saw apart from the fact that my ejection fraction from left ventricle was 44. After follow up appointment I’ve been advised that this is classified as “low/normal”. So he’s put me on waiting list for Ablation as he feels this maybe beneficial but ultimately

Has anyone had liver metastases that resulted in ascites? If so did it resolve on its own or did they treat with diuretics or paracentesis?
I received taxotere and carbo my first round and my LFTs went down significantly but my abdomen seems to be worse and I have a lot of swelling in my legs.. I have my second round tomorrow and only getting taxotere this time.

Hi, I've been on Ibrance 100 & Femara 2.5 for 4 years, the problem I have is severe leg pain, had a lumpectomy 20 years ago, in 2015 it came back under my arm and collarbone. All pet scans good, no progression but I can barely walk, bone scan ok (8 mos. ago) my leg bone feels like my leg is gonna break
