Verzenio
I have stage 3 lobular cancer. So far had surgery, radiation and currently on Letrozole. I am considered high risk. Did not do chemo because it is not always effective with lobular cancer. Oncologist wants to put me on Verzenio but I am reluctant due to side effects. I am 68 and a full time teacher and

Zometa side effects
Hello, My new oncologist prefers Zometa to Xgeva so I had my first infusion of this on Monday. Yesterday, Wednesday, was horrible, aches, bone pain, nausea, chills....really just awful all day. I can barely move this morning. Is this from the Zometa? Has anyone had these side effects? The new team

I was first diagnosed Stage3 in Aug. 2014, ER+PR+Her2-. Found metastases in bones and lymph nodes in Dec. 2023, bioposied one node, same biomarkers. I was put on Tamoxifen which shrank many lesions, except for one. After that, I went through Tamoxifen, Letrozole + Kisqali, Faslodex + Kisqali, have scan

Turns out all my anxiety over taking Xeloda was warranted (for me). I wanted to THANK all of you beautiful people who helped me through my decision. I appreciate ALL of you so much!! I ended up starting it last Wednesday and my doctor lowered my dose to start. She put me on 1500mg twice a day. I

Dry frizzy hair due to MBC medication,
Iāve been on Ibrance and Faslodex for 4-1/2 years. Although Iām thankful that the meds have helped me so far, I would like to know if anyone has found a good shampoo and conditioner to help with dry, straight and frizzy hair, My old shiny and wavy hair changed significantly since start of MBC drugs

Xeloda Anxiety
I was supposed to begin Xeloda today. For some reason, I am paranoid. First, I'm thinking my dose is too high. I weigh 168 pounds, 5ā4ā and my team has me scheduled to take 2000 mg twice a day. I think thatās a lot. Anyone else similar in size to me taking this high of a dose? Am I just paranoid. I

Anybody with good results on Xeloda?
I was on Ibrance and Letrozole, then Verzenio and Faslodex and then Orserdu. Since Orserdu now failed, the next plan is Xeloda. I read here some reports about some bad side effects. My oncologist at Dana Farber gave me some choices and indicated that in my situation, Xeloda might be best. The

AST, ALT high
Hi, while been on Interferon journey my AST and ALT rocketed up high to 64 for ast and 92 for alt.Is this change a concern ? How can I maintain liver enzymes ? I am on a low carb high fat diet but I am using all the healthy ingredients. Not sure if related. Haematologist doesn't seem worry about that

Ibrance/Letrozole Fail
Been through the wringer and back over the past month. Scans showed progression. Had bone only mets and now showing inflammation in my lungs. Had more scans and genomic testing for mutations and it turns out I have no mutations that have been studied yet. My oncologist is putting me on Xeloda and says
