FISH testing and chromosomes for dummies
I am betting most of us had a cll tabula rasa at diagnosis, that is, our knowledge of cll was a blank slate. When told I had cll, all I heard was the word "leukemia". Google became my best friend and worst enemy. One of the first things I learned was that cll was not as bad as some other leukemias.

Change in Breast Cancer
Has anyone had a change in Receptors? I previously had Her2 Positive and now the sample from my breast surgery is Progesterone receptor Positive 100% and Estrogen receptor positive 2-5%. My Oncologist is completely at a loss as to what to do. She asked two colleges and got two different answers!

8-year-old Charlie raises £1000s for other people with a visible difference
When Charlie was 8 years old he was in a car crash which resulted in serious facial scarring. Since then, he's raised thousands of pounds for other people with a visible difference. This is his story. My name is Kimberley. I’m writing on behalf of my son Charlie, who’s 8 years old. On 30 September

Pain
Hello everyone, I have a question that I think sounds stupid but I have to ask. I am on Ibrance 100mg and letrozole. Does anyone experience pain or ache in the breast where your tumor is?? I haven't had any surgery, but every so often I get the pain and the ache. Just wondering if anyone else has. Thanks

Vitamin D & Breast Cancer
Just received via email: A paper published by GrassrootsHealth found an 80% lower incidence of breast cancer in women with vitamin D levels of at least 60 ng/ml compared to women with levels below 20 ng/ml. Average blood levels of vitamin D in the United States are approximately 24 ng/ml, well below

Questions..
Hey all just came back to work and university which has been helping me distract myself. Thank you all for the kind messages. Now I have a question. My mom was told she had multifocal invasive breast cancer, and they also told us it was a rare type. Oncologist says it is kind of random how she was checked

Bonkers?
Hi Ladies, I'm after your thoughts please. I am in the very lucky position of having 'no measurable disease' for which I am truly grateful. However I now have a decision to make. It is important to me to visit the hospital as infrequently as possible. I am currently on Letrozole, Ibrance & Denosumab

Nothing working on My Daughters MBC
My daughter was diagnosed stage-3, January 2018. She had dense breast, reason given for no early detection. She was going to MSK and told she was clear after one breast removed and many lymphs nodes, all cancerous. She also had chemotherapy first , (no shrinkage) followed by radiation. Returned to work

Question to those of you on Euthyrox
Now that I'm back on levo (or at least will have to combine levo with NDT/T3 since NDT seems to contain too much T3 and not enough T4 for me), I wonder how the recent reformulation has affected Euthyrox. They replaced sucrose with mannitol, and I know there have been a lot of problems with Teva's levothyroxine
