Phew!! That wasn't so bad lol.
Consultation with GP and Paramedic done this morning. GP says from my symptoms I am very likely to be anemic due to how much blood I've lost and have an infection. Bloods taken and a good check up and will know for definite tomorrow. She's putting me on a fruit juice supplement as I hardly eat and am

Ibrance changed to Faslodex
Ibrance has failed so I'm being switched to Faslodex. What is your experience with the side effects of Faslodex? More physical pain? Fatigue? I'm not sure what to expect after reading all the "possible" side effects. Anja

Latest appointment - possible genetic sequencing
I had my latest oncology telephone appointment on Tuesday. Letrozole, which had kept me stable for 2 years, stopped working earlier this year, & I've been taking Megace since August. There's little change on my latest scan, so I'm continuing to take it for now. After some discussion on my future,

Oncotype Score 21, Arm Stretches, and Cold Caps
Hi all. This group has been very helpful and comforting. As it turns out, my oncotype score for early detected stage 1 BC was 21, and Chemo can help out in the long run (6.5% better outcomes than with only hormone therapy). I am wavering on the decision, mostly because I dread chemo. Working up

Kidney/Ureter/Bladder Reconstructive Surgery Recovery Time?
I will be one year with my new blessed kidney on November 26. I have had 2 rejections and countless surgical procedures mostly due to a narrowing of the ureter causing a backflow of urine from my bladder to my kidney and causing my kidney to swell. After several stent replacements, 2 unsuccessful

Post SBRT CAT Scan
In June of this year I had stereotactic body radiation therapy for a slow growing tumor in my left lung which was presumed to be a recurrence of a previous NSCLC in that same area. Biopsy was not an option due to the tumor's proximity to the aorta. I had a follow up CAT scan earlier this week and the

Faslodex or exemestane?
Hi everyone, My mom's tumor markers came back higher, and her doctor wants her to switch from letrozole (which she's been on for 2 years) to either faslodex or exemestane. Just wanted to ask if any of you have used either and if there is a preference for one over the other. Thank you

Severe endometriosis pain and pregnancy
Hi everyone, I’m sorry if this is upsetting for people who are ttc - I know how much it hurts to get a period when you’re trying and how jealous you feel when you see others who have managed to get pregnant. But I’m desperate and I don’t know where else to ask. I’m currently 19 weeks pregnant with my

Capsular Contracture from Implant
At first I chose not to have
reconstruction
for my missing
breast
. In July 2019, I changed my mind. Now I have Capsular Contracture. Have any of you dealt with this? I really do not want to undergo anymore surgeries so I'm hoping for non-surgical treatments that have been successful!

Bone Mets
Exactly a year to the day of my initial diagnosis of metastatic cancer, imaging found extensive bone mets in my femur and hip. It is the osteoblastic type. I'm set up for physical therapy to work with the soft tissue on my leg due to the pain and also radiation. Scheduled a PET scan to see if there

I had an appointment with my oncologist this morning to discuss my latest scan results. Unfortunately it wasn’t good news as it showed significant progression in the liver and a small amount in the bones. This wasn’t unexpected as I’ve had a steady rise in both liver enzymes and cancer markers. The eribulin

Faslodex
Good morning ladies. Just a few questions about Faslodex. I've been getting these injections now for over 40 months and now it seems as tho my nurse is running out of viable spots to inject. This past Fri. I got 2 more but 1 was placed very high up and has caused me considerable pain while in bed.

Scan results stable
I have just had the results call from last weeks CT scan, just as a refresh I was sent for another scan only 2 months after the one that showed chemo hadn't really worked as a few of the lesions on liver had progression whilst on it so I'd been put on letrozole asap and have continued with H&P infusions
