Running has carried me through
Then last February, just before I was going to attempt a Parkrun, I was diagnosed with
breast
cancer
and sucked into a whirlwind of medical tests and treatment. The doctors told me that exercise could help me cope.

Ribociclib and Letrozole
My
breast
cancer
which was removed two years ago has come back in my breast bone (7mm) and S1 (1 cm). I have been told I need to start taking Ribociclib and Letrozole. Any of you has experience of taking these same medications together? Did they work? How did they make you feel?

low grade serous ovarian cancer
hello I’m new to the group but I was diagnosed with low grade ovarian cancer in October 2020 and have since had a radical hysterectomy in December 2020 followed by 6 rounds of chemo starting in June 2021 which didn’t remove all the cancer I was given a course of letrozole but this didn’t work for me.

ibrance
I’ve been taking ibrance with faslodex since 2018. I had to stop taking ibrance because of hospitalization (3) for infections that I needed my immune system to fight. Probably 6 months. In that time I developed nodules (small) in bowel, pelvis and cervical 2. I was taken off both ibrance and faslodex

Rising T Bili on Xeloda
Hi ladies!! my mom has been on xeloda and her T bili continues to go up last few weeks. Her last scans showed shrinking lesions on liver. Her Tumor Markers went up 28 points this month. Her scan is bumped up to next week . She s checking for blockage that would require a stent in the liver I guess

Taking Meds in the AM vs PM
Hi I’m newly on Kisqali and Letrozole and I am wondering if anyone has feedback about whether it seems better to take these during the day or at night before bed. I’ve heard that some people prefer a nighttime dosage to sleep through any nausea or fatigue Interested in any and all experiences Thanks

Digoxin and Verapamil
Is there anyone on this site that takes Digoxin and Verapamil together? I have had persistant AF for about a year now and have had one failed cardioversion. I am now waiting for an ablation. My EP has tried various medications, some of which didn't agree with me. I have settled on Digoxin and Verapamil

Running again- Thank goodness
Back from
breast
cancer
, I have decided to get myself fit again. I have run long distances for most of my adult life (apart from kiddy times). So my plan is to do C25K without rest days (only Sunday off) to get back there ASAP :)

Good morning Ladies, Does anyone have any information on pleural fluid in the lung? I’m currently on first line of RX for MBC in lung with faslodex. Scans are showing small pleural fluid and nodules, etc. I’m so scared! Any thoughts? Thanks, Susie

xeloda
I take 3000 a day and I weigh 135 lbs. My regime is 7 days on and 7 days off. However I started with 3500 and that really affected my hands and they lowered my dosage. I am still having challenges with my hands but it’s not bad. They get extremely dry and crack, so I try to keep them moisturized
