PSA vs Testosterone plot has large scatter, but still confirms Morgentaler's Saturation Model.
Here are two plots comparing PSA values to Testosterone levels taken from a pair of large data sets. What is striking is the large amount of scatter in the individual data from both datasets, with factors of 2-6 X deviations from the average (or median) values. The upper plot has N = 255 data points

radiation damage to the bladder
my husband has had 4 rather benign treatments of Pluvicto at the recommended 6 week intervals. Treatment #5 is Schilz’s in about 10 days. All of a sudden he is having hematuria and bladder spasms. Can anyone tell me what kinds of treatments are used for radiation burns or irritation to the bladder? Thanks

Abiraterone and Breathlessness
After around 7 months on Abiraterone, I developed high blood pressure and quite bad irregular heartbeats. My Oncologist took me off Abiraterone immediately, and I was subsequently diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. After seeing a Cardiology Consultant, I was prescribed Bisoporol and started back on

Spam me with any stories of hope or guidance for my Dad - Gleason 10, bone mets in spine
Hello, I recently shared that my Dad was diagnosed with aggressive Gleason 10 prostate cancer. CT and bone scan confirmed this week he has bone mets in his spine (within L5 vertebrae). This is very shocking and heartbreaking to our family - his only symptom was more frequent urination - he does not

Psma-pet scan results
PCa Warriors: I am on Active Surveillance(AS )with one core GL6 at 10%. I am part of a clinical trial that uses PSMA-pet scan to track progression. I guess the goal is to catch progression early and maybe avoid biopsies. The results are given below. Two things grabbed my attention from the report.

Relugolix/Orgovyx or Enzalutamide/Xtandi?
Good morning, all. I have updated my profile with my husband's history. But, long story short, he has been on ADT vacation for 13 months following succesful treatment of metastatic disease with Triplet Therapy (six rounds of Docetaxel, Lupron, and first Abieraterone plus Prednisone and then he switched

SeHCAT scan - eeek!
Got my letter through to book the SeHCAT scan. I'm just freaked out by having to go to the same clinic that caused me so much distress during colonoscopies/endoscopies. I know this won't hurt and logically I don't need to worry but I can't help it.🙄

Should the dose of Dutasteride be increased?
The plot above shows the residual (nadir) level of DHT in men as a function of the daily Dutasteride dose (mg/day). The DHT nadir numbers shown in this plot are: 23.8 pg/mL for 0.5 mg daily dose; 10.2 pg/mL for 2.5 mg daily dose; and 7.3 pg/mL for 5 mg daily dose. Ref: Clark (2004) [see Table

New PSMA avid sclerotic lesions in the left inferior pubic ramus, and bilateral symphysis pubis. Additional new small foci in the left acetabulum and supra-acetabular region. Index focus in the left symphysis pubis with a maximum SUV 20.4. RO will radiate but suggests change from Zytiga to Xtandi.

Lump on back after chest drain
When i developed a pleural effusion last June the hospital did a couple of drains before fitting me with a semi-permanent drain. A few weeks ago I developed a lump under the skin, exactly where the hospital drains were done. This lump is growing quite quickly and is now very painful. I had an ultrasound

Can Fenbendazole be taken along with Orgovyx?
My husband has just been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. The doctor plans to do a scan to see if it has spread and then put him on Orgovyx. I am concerned about side effects (he is 86) and was hoping fenbendazole could be used at the same time to help things along. Does anyone have experience
