radiation damage to the bladder

my husband has had 4 rather benign treatments of Pluvicto at the recommended 6 week intervals. Treatment #5 is Schilz’s in about 10 days. All of a sudden he is having hematuria and bladder spasms. Can anyone tell me what kinds of treatments are used for radiation burns or irritation to the bladder? Thanks

I don't know how common it is for Pluvicto to cause significant cystitis with hematuria. It is excreted via the urine so there is that potential. High fluid intake to flush it through, especially in the first 3 days after a treatment is a good idea. At this point he should be seen by a urologist for urine analysis and possibly an office cystoscopy to evaluate it.
