My Bladder Cancer Update.
My latest flexy cystoscopy showed I had no tumour in my bladder, backing up what was said in Autumn 2023 and that was a complete turn-around. Seems my BCG has worked in as far as there si no tumour growth. I still have cancer cells because I have cancer in situ (CIS) but at moment is low grade. So

Go-forward Treatment Plan
First of all, I've been an avid reader of this forum over the past 2 years, and wanted to express my gratitude towards the amount of knowledge everyone has been sharing on this site. My father (62 y.o., very healthy) was diagnosed with aggressive PCa (Gleason 9, PSA 58) in Sep 2021, and underwent RALP

how long typically does it take from diagnosis to treatment?
Hello, my father was just diagnosed with advanced aggressive prostate cancer Gleason 9-10 (TBC). Bone scan and CT scan are next to check for spread (please God it hasn’t), but the scans are not for another 2.5 weeks! Then follow-up to discuss results a full week after that. Which seems insane that we

Wednesday The 14th.
I promised a painting for the 14 and being a heart shape canvas I could not use the easel. I ruined the picture with my sleeve going in paint on palate and it got onto painting - Ruined. I have done one not as good by painting the canvas black, and painted a picture ok for black canvas, Could not

My initial MRI and wait time for biopsy
Just got my MRI. PSA rising slowly for 3 years from 4.0 to 5.1. The MRI indicates a pi-Rad level 4 lesion 10 ml, well defined with no infiltration. Either base peripheral zone 11 to 12 o clock or transitional mid gland zone 11 to 12 o clock. Will get the location cleared up. I have an MRI fusion

Delayed Lynparza (Olaparib)Reaction
I started Lynparza (Olaparib) on 5/19 (PSA 172). By 7/5 (+7 weeks ) my PSA was 222 and it was decided to discontinue the drug, get a port, and prepare for chemo. At the first chemo appt on 8/10 (+12 weeks), the blood test showed that my PSA had fallen to 194. The general literature says you evaluate

ED & zero libido
Three years on from diagnosis and nearly three year of no sexual function. A big loss between my wife and I thought we don’t really talk about it. My GP prescribes viagra but without the desire, little effect. Also given a pump but something makes me resistant to try it. Having said all this I have

🤖 ChatGPT on Cancer-Fighting Exercise💪 vs PCa
ChatGPT, the free AI research tool provided by OpenAI, is surprisingly good at summarizing some topic of interest that one might be interested in. I submitted a long question this evening on "
exercise against metastatic prostate cancer progression
". My goal is understanding exercise in an environment

hello to all in the oesophageal cancer community. not necessarily a community that anyone would particularly choose to be in but also comforting to know others are in the same situation. my husband was diagnosed with stage 2 OG in September 2023. he has had four chemo sessions and is due to have surgery

I wonder if anyone knows why or has experienced a rise on PSA level (from 70 to 274), 6 months after radiation therapy (VMAT x 26 sessions)?
Before and after radiation therapy, dad was taking Bicalutamide 50 mg and Alfuzosin50 mg together with a quarterly Leuprorelin injection. This month (October), after receiving his Leuprorelin injection, Urologist advised to stop taking Bicalutamide as it is no longer effective due to hormone resistance

Just joined the club no one wants to be a member of in April 2023 - can Gleason 9 be cured ?
Doc says that our goal is a cure despite the fact that I am a Gleason 9 with Decipher score of 1 , the highest for metatastic spread. (PSMA PET was negative.) The highest my PSA has ever been was 5.48 in December 2022 and it dropped to .09 with Testosterone of 14 in August two months after a shot of
