Weight Loss - Low calorie snacks
Completed week 5 of NHS weight loss programme and lost 2.3 kilos. I am restricted in amount of fibre and fruit I can eat (by Consultant's instructions) and so sometimes go over calories. I am lactose intolerant and eat gluten free bread as it is better for me. Any suggestions for low calorie snacks

High respiratory efforts in COVID-19 patients could result in self-inflicted lung injury
The impact of high breathing efforts on the lungs of patients suffering with acute respiratory failure due to COVID-19 has been investigated by researchers at the University of Warwick, who assessed the likelihood of resulting lung injury. Although mechanical ventilation is a life-saving intervention

1 Year On - Not How I Expected Things To Be
1 year ago, last night, I was taken by Ambulance to the local A&E, from which I was admitted to the local Cardiology Ward, for the second time in a few months, and after being told I needed an operation fairly soon if I was to survive. Within the week I was transferred to Essex CTC where I was to undergo

Trigger (Not only fools and horses)
I have been trying for months to establish a trigger that sets off attacks of AF. I’m lucky at present that I’m only on blood pressure and anti coagulative medication as the attacks are short lived and are around every two to three weeks. I realise that they will increase over time which is similar

Chopped Spinach, Swiss and Mild Cheddar Cheese, Rice Crust: Dinner
This is what I had for dinner tonight. The crust for the quiche was made with brown rice, lemon juice, two types of cheeses, liquid egg whites and chopped spinach. For dessert, we had chocolate ice cream. The entire meal was 48 carbs. with the ice cream. I will have the leftovers for lunch on Monday
