Travelling with interferon/pegasys
Hi , I have just recently started on the pegasys weekly injections . I am travelling to Greece and wonder if anyone can recomend the best way to keep the medication at the correct temperature whilst flying and travelling. Is there a chargeable medication box which I could charge using a battery pack

Doctors.... blood tests..... need I say more??
I have Hashis, Addisons and a slew of other things.... my old consultant (private not NHS) often called me a modern medical mystery! I have Addisons (PAI) but about 2 years after my diagnosis I had to have steroid injections in my spine- caused my BP to rise to dangerous levels and it's never come down

Endo recommendation Tunbridge Wells
Hi everyone. My first post for many years so I’m now very out of date on everything as I’ve been happily ticking along for ages taking a combination of thyroxine and T3 and keeping my TSH levels quite low. I’ve recently been referred back to endo to confirm the T3 prescription and for some adrenal

Interferon and the liver
question to all my MPN people on here who are taking pegasys or besremi, how do you manage elevated liver enzymes? Do they cycle up and down? Is there anything we can do to bring them down? What is acceptable to y’all? My hematologist says not to worry until they hit 2-300.. My blood numbers actually

thyroid and knee steroid injection.
hi I’ve recently been diagnosed as having hypothyroidism and I’m taking thyroxine. A few days ago I had a steroid injection in my knee for an injury that hadn’t healed. My question is can the injection affect thyroxine. I’m totally shattered.

headache update #3
Yesterday was bad. Last night agony. Went back to instant care today hoping for the steroid injection the ER Dr recommended. Dr said in his experience the shots aren’t super effective and don’t last long. He did seem to agree with the occipital neuralgia diagnosis. So instead we are going with stronger

guided steroid injection
I’m due to have a guided steroid injection in the big knuckle joint on my foot to alleviate pain, stiffness and immobility caused by my rheumatoid condition. . I’m hoping it may also help the tendinitis and Enthetitis that resulted from a severe leg muscle injury that was untreated due to the pandemic

central sensitivity syndrome
Has anyone heard of CSS. My dr said this can cause restless legs and stems from childhood trauma. Sort of crappy to think that yes, my childhood was super traumatic and potentially from that I still need to suffer.

I suffer with this occasionally. I take methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine. Is this a drug side effect and does anyone else suffer? Thanks.

I have a frozen shoulder and have been offered a steroid injection. I am on Hydroxy and Aspirin.I am wondering if anyone else has had the injection and if they had any side effects.
