Anxiety Flair
I have loved with anxiety but have had it under control for quite some time now. Then out of no where I had a panic attack because my husband went out of town. Ever since my body has stayed amped up and my anxiety is out of control. My dr just switched me to Zoloft from celexa noting I had been on it

Good news
I said recently in my post that I'm pleased not to dwell on the numbers and keep everything in perspective. But I still appreciate good news when it comes. This week I had a call from oncologist largely because she's liaising with my dentist about dental work. Basically she was telling me it was worth

Hi all, I posted on here little while ago about my mum having total abdo hysterectomy for ovarian cancer. We are now 3 weeks on from surgery. a 10cm cyst was removed which at the time, they assumed it was cancer. We went to her results and biopsy results yesterday. We were all extremely shocked

Nearly 14 years on - time has flown.
On Friday 16th April 2010 I joined the Pernicious Anaemia Society and posted the following: “I was diagnosed with PA back in 1972 consequent upon having had surgery for a peptic ulcer in April 1959 at the tender age of 17. In those days I was not many years from having to be put on a diet of raw liver

Implications of positive if ‘weak ANA test’?
I have dry-eye confirmed by Moorfield’s. I also have dry mouth and my dentist said she suspected I had Sjorgren’s. When tested I proved to have a ‘weak positive ANA test’. What, if anything does that mean?

AST/ALT Ratio
I've just joined as I've been worrying myself sick with online data regarding AST/ALT ratio. My liver function test results came back within range but when I use the ratio calculator it says I have liver cerrhosis or chronic hepatitis. Thanks for any help.

Death of Dr. Joseph Chandy
Very sad news of the death of Dr. Chandy, who was a hero for his B12 deficient patients . He wrote , with Hugo Minney , a great book “Vitamin B12 deficiency in clinical practice”. ( Doctor , you gave me my life back) He stood up to the medical authorities in order to treat his B12 deficient patients
