Just had result from hospital . Heart scan normal. Just waiting for result of 24 hr moniter. Still getting odd flutters feel them when resting . Sometimes wake up x i have been sweating. . Anxiety i had which was awful is a lot better but had to take sertraline. 50mg. I am now walking dog further . X i have been out for coffee x a meal . Not shopped on my own yet. Need a bit of confidence back . X

That's the news you needed to help rebuild your confidence. I had an MRI scan after my ablation for flutter and that helped me a great deal. All that said, the episodes still create anxiety and I suspect they always will. Keep in mind that with a normal heart, even if AF makes it feel as if you are about to collapse or worse, you're not. In some senses, the anxiety is the worst aspect of it all.

Hi Sawny,
It took me about 5-6 months for my anxiety (for AF) to finally level off and for the most part go away. Who knows it may come back.
At least now I know I am not going to kick off tomorrow.
Glad you are feeling a little better. Try to get out, I enjoy going to the store. You can always take breaks as you wander. Good luck
