Change from Bisoprolol to Diltiazam.
My doctor has recently switched me from Bisoprolol to Diltiazam. (I’m not sure why - I think he explained, but there is always too much information to take in during consultations so I’m guessing it’s because I mentioned a hand tremor and balance problems.) I’m put off by all the warnings about the Diltiazam

4-months post ablation, what I have been through.
Hi All, Giving an update on my post-ablation progress, which may inform those of you in the same process or more importantly those who are looking for answers to their immediate post-ablation concerns. A caveat, read on my experience but always talk to your EP. You may follow from my previous posts,

Hi, i have posted here before regarding suspected myocarditis. I was given a monitor to wear for 72 hours, i experienced 83 different "events", yet there is nothing showing that is of any concern to the cardiologist (not yet spoke directly to them yet) and my GP, who i spoke to yesterday. I did ask

High Potassium levels and Palpitations.
I posted last week about having my Entresto and Bisoprolol stopped because of high potassium levels after a blood test. I was diagnosed with HF in July. I have been ok until this weekend until t when my racing heart palpitations returned. I have had 3 episodes so far since Sunday. The one last night

Paroxysmal AF getting worse
I was diagnosed with PAF last spring and put on bisoprolol plus a blood thinner. The dosage of bisoprolol has since crept up to the maximum 10mg per day as the PAF has become more frequent and longer lasting. I have been struggling to get my GP to get me an appt with cardiology for a meds review and/

Ranexa 375 mg prolonged-release Tablets \ Ranolazine 375 mg. Has anybody had any adverse effect from this medication.
My angina has recently become unstable. I did encourage my to GP to increase my dose of Ranolazine 375 mg to 500 mg. This caused continuous severe angina to such an extent I had to go to A & E, as having a good three double blasts of my GTN spray no angina relief had happened. A few hours later, after

Good news and post recovery question
I feel I should apologise as I know there are lots of people here that are going through tough times but I am posting this as positive news and interested to hear from people who have recovered although I think I will be recovering from this for rest of my life. I went for a cardiology appointment yesterday

JUST SEEKING REASSURANCE
I saw my oncologist yesterday and told her my ablation had been successful (performed last September - no AF since) but she questioned that as I am still on 100mg Flecainide in the morning and 75mg at night .75 Bisoprolol was it really successful. Should I be looking to stop all medication as Flecainide

Light-Headed
Hi, I have survived 2 'out of hospital' cardiac arrests. I had a triple heart bypass after the first in 2012 and an ICD fitted in 2019 after the second. 10 days ago, I started feeling very light-headed. I have had no change of meds (either dosage or type) . I take Ramipril, Amiodarone, Asprin, Bisoprolol

What is A Fib please?
I'll try and keep it short. I have sinus tachy and take bisoprolol for this. I usually get ectopic beats now and then but ive had quite a few the last couple of weeks. However just now I was sat down watching a bit of news enjoying a bag of quavers and out of the blue my heart rate changed to something
