change of medication to Atenolol from Bisoprolol
I have been on Bisoprolol for a couple of weeks but I haven’t felt great. I felt tired and foggy most of the time, struggled to get my breath and my feet were freezing. I have spoken to the pharmacist at our surgery and he has changed my medication to Atenolol even though he said Bisoprolol was the preferred

Persistent AF
Hello, for the past couple of years I have had paroxysmal AF which has taken increasingly long times to convert to NSR. The last few have been 22 hours and usually every couple of weeks or so. This time I was quite pleased as I went 22 days without, the longest interval for 18 months. However it's now

Rampiril, half a 1.25mg tablet & a 1.25mg bisoprolol. Why the Rampiril ? 🤣
I wonder why I’m on such a small, fiddly dose of Rampiril? My bisoprolol was lowered from 3.75mg to 1.25 last September and the half 1.25mg Rampiril added. My BP is always 107-115 over 68-75 , resting heart rate 44-49 bpm. Been running 5k 3 times a week plus other activities. 7 months months post CABG

Disappointment after Ablation Number 4
I had my 4th ablation just two weeks ago and since then, have enjoyed two weeks of blissful NSR and a wonderfully steady heart rate of between 50 and 60 bpm. I was feeling a bit lightheaded, breathless and dizzy so my EP advised me to reduce my Bisoprolol dosage from 5mg twice a day to 3.75mg in the

Yoga after heart surgery
Hi All , good to be here in every sense. I had a surprise heart issue over a few days culminating in mitra valve repair 5 weeks ago via sternotomy. Discharged after 5 days on bisoprolol and warfarin both hopefully temporary. Follow up in two weeks I was a very active (59 year old) yoga teacher before

Update and Plan
Well, I feel pretty good about my EP appt. today. He was really succinct about a plan, goals, and end game. So he has proposed in ascending order, four medications to try. He is starting with the mildest and going to the strongest. He is recommending to start with Bisoprolol, then Verapamil, then Sotolol

Ectopics - one after the other. So scared
Hi everyone. I posted on this forum a few years ago and everyone was so helpful. I wonder if anyone could offer some advice/reassurance? Quick back sorry. I had an SVT around 2.5 years ago and ended up in hospital. Had all tests and nothing wrong. Was put on 1.25mg Bisoprolol which made me horribly

Well I've gone from that to taking my gtn for pain in shoulder and spots of pain in right chest to passing out and being non responsive with eyes open. My other half finally got me to come around but he'd already phoned the ambulance and they
