Bug bite
The
biopsy
showed that the rash was due to a bug bite of some sort and if it didn’t go away I should return for further study. After several months of applying a prescription lotion it’s almost gone.

Pregnancy and treatment
They first thought it to be CLL but now believe this is Lymphoma and are awaiting results of the
biopsy
and scans tomorrow. The added complication is that she is 3 months pregnant. Her parents are distraught as you might imagine and fear that treatment would not help in this situation.

I think we knew this - PSMA-Pet superior to MRI
It would appear PSMA-PET should be a first-line tool during diagnosis, perhaps - nay - absolutely (my opinion) before an invasive
biopsy
(which has been thought to cause "seeding" due to the punctures made in the prostate and resulting internal blood loss.)

Low Dose Naltrexone
( just for background I developed a goitre in 2021,
biopsy
came back inconclusive so I had a partial thyroidectomy 2/3rds removed, started levothyroxine but despite my dose increasing my antibodies are still off the chart and my symptoms haven’t improved)

2nd recurrence
My team have not been able to
biopsy
my offending lymph node as it is to dangerous to
biopsy
. So the have started me on another course of 6 rounds of Pacitaxol/Carboplatin. I’ve been told that my cancer is slightly more difficult to treat as it was Stage 2 Grade 3 adenocarcinomasarcoma.

Hi all, my beautiful mum is getting her
biopsy
results tomorrow (Friday) but has been told she has a tumour and there is potential spread to lymph nodes and that the plan will be chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Dr will not prescribe new Nash drug Rezdiffra
I had
biopsy
3 years ago and was F3 S1Nash. My fibroscan was low F3 S2. She said since I am stable and slightly improved it is not urgent for the drug and I should wait 1 year for another Fibroscan.

New Member saying Hello
A
biopsy
in 2022 also indicated that there was no cancer. My last PSA test was 9.64 in April, so my urologist recommended another
biopsy
, this time under sedation and (I think) ultrasound-guided. Of the 12 samples, one was (3+3) and two were (3+4).

Is there a difference between Barrett’s tongue and barretts oesophagus ?
I have been trying to research this since my endoscopy showed “possible Barrett’s tongue”
Biopsy
has been taken to rule this out which I hope is a positive sign , but does anyone have experience of this term?

STEM CELL TRANSPLANT FINALLY SCHEDULED (WE HOPE)
After three cycles, another bone marrow
biopsy
did not show the results the Mayo doctor had hoped for, so more Vidaza was ordered with the addition of venetoclax. David has now received six cycles of vidaza and two of venetoclax.

Right Temple Pain but Tolerable
GCA was not confirmed by
biopsy
but I’m not convinced it’s not GCA or some other type of vasculitis. My head pain along the right temporal was intolerable, which led me to the ER on April 16.

Cll to Hodgkins lymphoma
He still wasn’t getting better, so after a pet scan and lymph
biopsy
, it was determined he now also has Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Apparently, this is a very rare (but treatable) transformation. He has had 3 chemo treatments so far (AVD and Keytruda) every other week.

Ending my Actemra next month
Diagnosed GCA from a
biopsy
in March 2022. Absolutely no side effects ever. I’m being taken off at the end of next month cold turkey. A little apprehensive (ie:scared) that a relapse may occur. Has anybody followed that same path or should I insist on tapering to every other week for a few months?
