thinking of switching from Ibrance to Kisqali (Ribociclib). Any thoughts for those with lobular?
Since we were waiting on the results of the bone
biopsy
we opted for Ibrance out of fear of liver damage . if the bone
biopsy
came back that it was not the same as the BC er+ her2- then I wanted to not risk liver issues if chemo was possible in the near future.

just want some advice…
This all started following a colposcopy and punch
biopsy
of my cervix due to abnormal cells in November 2022. Within a couple of days I was in a lot of pain and was diagnosed with a UTI and severe thrush which I treated.

ART Systematic Review of the Decipher® Genomic Classifier in Prostate Cancer
Both
biopsy
and clinical specimens can be used. I had my Decipher done with my clinical specimen post RP; it was a whopping 0.97 out of 1.0 for risk; it should have come back 0.5 to match my Gleason of 4-3!

Nearly 7 years after diagnosis - it's decision time.
I had an MRI and
biopsy
a few months ago: 28cc gland, G7 (3+4):
Biopsy
result: A: Right apical PZ: G3+4 12mm 3/4 B: Right mid/basal PZ: G3+4 9mm 3/3 C: Left PZ: Benign I'll post more detailed results in comments, in the unlikely event anyone is interested!

Sacrum tumor biopsy
Anyone else had this kind of
biopsy
where the tumor is inside the bone? MO is willing to proceed with IMRT w/o
biopsy
for urgency, then start Lynparza 30 days later. 2nd opinion suggests
biopsy
then IMRT.

When do hot flashes end once ADT is suspended?
I was on ADT (Eligard) quarterly injections from January 2021 to November 2022 (two years). I am still experiencing the side effects of frequent hot flashes, low energy levels, weight gain, etc. I would just like to know when I might expect the hormones to have been "flushed-out" of my system and my

My consultant has said that they won’t know for definite which had most impact until they do a liver
biopsy
. 10 months after being diagnosed I ended up in hospital for a week following hepatic encephalopathy incident. Unfortunately no one had mentioned that being constipated could cause this.

My daughter has (we think as no one is sure!) cutaneous lupus which affects her skin. Her regular flare ups result in very painful skin lesions which blister and bleed. She is under rheumatology and dermatology and after two years still not found medication / immunosuppressants that works and shes seen

Update On My Op - As Promised.
So to conclude my op went well - I have no tumour at the moment and my specialist is on the case of the
biopsy
, So really is decent news.

ECE and CRIBRIFORM FOUND IN PATH REVIEW OF MSK BIOPSY BY UCSF
has anyone talked to a pathologist that reviewed or did their
biopsy
? 4
. The ECE is not even clearly indicated , it is NOT DEFINITE & HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS FOR EXTRACAPSULAR EXTENSION should it be an important consideration?

You are what you breath - but what you breath varies...
But given my smoking, an incident caused by Hitler in 1943 and that childhood asthma my breathing was not good. 2006 and a
biopsy
revealed emphysema and a side dish of bronchiectasis, probably the result of scarring during the pneumonia episodes. (my theory, btw).

5 failed transfers and looking for hope (and NK cells…)
Next stop is to test for uNK cells via endometrium
biopsy
which I can’t say I’m looking forward to. I’m 39 in March and starting to loose hope. Is there anyone out there who got their baby after having 5 or more failed transfers.
