How long does this process take?
Or is another
biopsy
done? I live in a rural location. The RO is in one city, the RT building another community, and my primary care and urologist are in another place. So I'll also be doing (or my wife will) a fair amount of driving.

Biopsy
showed no spreading and, for now, I am cancer free. 99% continence regained 3 months post surgery. 1 year post surgery....0% return of erections. The last many years of my married life has had a very little sexual content. Whatever we had was beautiful, but not enough for me.

My initial MRI and wait time for biopsy
I have an MRI fusion targeted
biopsy
scheduled in late May. Is the waiting period for this lesion appropriate? Being seen at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and clinics by a urologist.

I’m told they will do a diagnostic procedure called a fusion
biopsy
. It’s an MRI guided
biopsy
that allows the Dr. to see where there are suspicious areas and take biopsies from those areas.

Effect of low endogenous testosterone
Biopsy
showed 1 sample was Gleason 8. Starting ADT and radiation soon. Have had low testosterone (<150 ng/ml) most of my life. Non-existent libido, depression and tired most of the time. Recent studies have shown that aggressive prostate cancer more common in people with low testosterone.

dexamethasone
My question is if anyone has had dexamethasone whilst awaiting
biopsy
and cancer treatment to start and was it effective for symptoms. Thank you for any advice.

How bad are these PSMA Pet Scan Results?
My second post. Just got my PSMA results back. 48 years old. PSA is 100. 12 Biopsies all show cancer. Mostly 4+3's two of them 4+4's.What do you think ? My appointment with MO is not till Wednesday. What do think he will offer as treatment method ? I'm just worried and concerned.

biopsy for DH
She decided to do
biopsy
there & then - so now awaiting results & I’ve been put on antibiotics for next 6 weeks - when next appt is. What I wasn’t told is how pain full my arm would be after the anesthetic wore off🫣🫣 but hopefully will be worth it if I get a definate diagnosis.

HU and prefibrotic myelofibrosis
After bone marrow aspiration and
biopsy
, diagnosis changed to prefibrotic myelofibrosis. HU had brought platelets down to 270 but I suffered from bad side effects. Dr didn’t want to change med or dosage. I resisted He finally agreed to 3x a week.

The eternal supplement conundrum!
Hi all, hope all doing well and all optimistic going into 2024 - and/or grateful for what we’re leaving behind. I’m reviewing our supplements going into ‘24 as a friend of a similar age is on so many I think she must rattle! She is on her IVF journey ahead of me so getting all the advice she can -

Hi all - my husband was given confirmed
biopsy
results (after a debulking operation) last week of grade 4 GBM. His treatment plan is 6 weeks of radiotherapy with chemotherapy, then 4 weeks rest, then 6 months of chemo.

He called me in for a
biopsy
. While on the table he was looking at my chart and said I don’t even know why you are here, I just did a sonogram 3 months ago. He continues with the
biopsy
. Next day my urologist calls me at work and tells me I have prostate cancer.

What are your symptoms of regenerative nodular hyperplasia and is it worth doing a CT scan?
It appears this has a lot of cirrhosis symptoms but is very difficult to diagnose (only a specialised form of
biopsy
can do so, from what I'm reading?). I've had an MRI (found 2 liver lesions and a bleeding on the spleen?)

Are there options past Pluvicto?
He did a liquid
biopsy
in january, that showed nothing but a TP 53 mutation. He is also symptomatic and has had some bone pain, so BAT is not on the table. Is there anything out there we may pursue?

Azathoprine caused Liver Cirrhosis!!!
However, recently my blood platelets started dropping and I was given a liver ultrasound where I was told it felt stiff with scarring but then following a liver
biopsy
my results were ‘liver cirrhosis’ !!

DH- dermatitis herpetiformis- So my antibiotics have finished 1 week ago & my scalp has returned to unbelieveably itchy so soon after?
Not sure how I am going to cope all week until my
biopsy
results in a weeks time? Then it’s reality time - if it’s positive so do I really have to live forever with such pain- it just makes my life miserable?
