Confused by Decipher Test
Had a
biopsy
3 weeks ago and it showed cancer in the prostate. The PI-RAD 3 lesion turned out to be benign. My GS was 3+3, Grade Group 1. I had 3 cores out of 14 that showed cancer in a couple locations that are close to each other. The pathologist also identified PNI in one core.

Information overload and now decision time!
So then a month ago, I had 42
biopsy
samples taken and 8 of them were found to be Gleason 4+4 and all are in the LHS of the prostate. Petscan shows no metastatic growth. I'm 65yo. No health issues, no symptoms, and everything is functioning as normal, My last PSA level prior to
Biopsy
was 8.

Perineural invasion increases soft tissue progression risk in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer post-abiraterone resistance
Background : Prostate cancer presents with soft tissue progression (STP) is highly aggressive. We analyzed the risk factor for STP in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who developed abiraterone acetate (AA) resistance. Methods : This retrospective study included

Docetaxel only partially successful
I am awaiting the genomic analysis of a
biopsy
to see if there might be other treatments available to me. If the Cab doesn't work, I'm considering Lu-177 (Q: Would the chemo experience so far affect the prospects for Lu 177?) Any thoughts you have would be welcomed.

Hi All! I am due for my 4rd Lupron treatment and follow-up next week. My bloodwork is done and my PSA is still <.01 for 9 months now. I have BRCA 1 and 2. When my Urologist gave me my initial diagnosis after my biopsies (Gleason 4+3=7 and 11 of 12 biopsies positive). nHe gave me a full report

Mixed news!
But Iām not too excited yet as Iāve also had to be recalled from a mammogram, and had a
biopsy
on Monday on a cyst in my left breast, as they couldnāt tell if it was a benign one or not! I should get results next Monday. (plus I wonāt settle until after the smear!)

GCA and Vision update
I had the
biopsy
on Wednesday and when the results came back on Friday my dosage was bumped up to 60. Soon after the visual disturbance started. I paid privately to have a āLifescanā today, which is a mobile medical company.

I recently had a scope into stomach done and
biopsy
. At first they said there is no gerd no inflammation, then then Dr called and said
Biopsy
showed autoimmune Atrophic Gastritis. She asked me not to Google, but of course I have been doing that for 2 weeks driving myself crazy.

MRI guided Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) for favorable intermediate recurrence?
One year later, left side clean in MRI and
biopsy
. However, right side determined to have 2 cores with 3+4, and 4+3. Regraded through Johns Hopkins (thanks to reading here) down to both 3+4 with significantly less pattern 4 in both cores.

My liver
biopsy
was inconclusive but I was started on urso due to symptoms and progression of labs. I recently had an MRI that shows mild liver inflammation but nothing particularly concerning based on my interpretation of radiologist report.

Following on from my previous post when I was eventually (after 6months) diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of my lower left lobe, I had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove the lobe - called a Lobectomy. Iād just like to say even though the lobe was āstickyā and therefore the surgery took 4.5hours, which was longer

Bone Marrow Biopsy and pain management
Can we talk about BMB and what we where given to manage the pain of it. I'm about to have my first and they have said I get a local in the injection site and the green whistle (penthrox) while they do the rest. I'm hearing mixed reports of how bad this thing is. Should I request to be put under? What
