I was recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer. I had a lymph node biopsy that showed "Metastatic poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with signet ring cell features consistent with pulmonary primary" I have not yet had a PET scan or MRI to see the spread if the cancer. From what I can find the "signet ring cell" is very rare especially in lung cancer. Has anyone else presented with signet ring cells in their diagnosis and, if so, how was your outcome?
