Liver Biopsy report, can anyone interpret?
Hello all, got my cirrhosis dx in march from a
biopsy
, however I have the full report, is there anything else of note from it other than I have cirrhosis from fat in the liver? The
biopsy
followed a high fibroscan read of 30.7kPa. Thank you Specimen: Liver, very high fibroscan reading ?

I was sent to Endocrinology in October 2023 where I had an ultrasound followed by
biopsy
. The nodule was solid with internal vascularity. I returned a week later for the results but the
biopsy
results were inconclusive due to too much blood in the sample.

What happens when CT scan and ultrasound can't verify if it's an ovarian mass or not?
Will they do some kind of
biopsy
or surgery? Are there any other options?

some not great news/ still a lot unknown
I know it’s unconfirmed until
biopsy
. How urgent is the situation? I’m a very logical person and appreciate hearing the honest answer in order to understand how to proceed. Thanks .

Hello 💐 I m new here. My platelet count 1080 down from 1140 (3 month ago).
An ultrasound of my uterus revealed several fibroids, some cysts etc, I am awaiting a
biopsy
of my uterine lining. There was also a mass behind my cervix. Unfortunately I have already waited 3 month as the waiting lists in New Zealand are really long and potentially have to wait another 2 months.

I also have had results of bone marrow
biopsy
, which showed no signs of MF or other disease progression, only what is already expected with having had the PV.

Post Cerebral Abscess recovery
Following further scans over the next few days, a
biopsy
and finally a burr hole procedure to remove the fluid, it turned out he had suffered with a brain infection.

Initial diagnosis took quite some time there was a lot of scratching of heads, but after Skin
biopsy
IGAv was confirmed. She started on topical steroids, anti-inflammatory and pain relief.

Orgovyx: Check, Barrigel: Check, Next Up: Ray-Gunz!
Thankfully, unlike my
biopsy
, this was a bloodless event and I feel well recovered after 24 hours. BTW, they issued me a special card identifying me as a Barrigel Barrier Bearer. Apparently, I may need this to get through airport security. Next week: Prep for the Photon Bombardment.

Fibroscan 14.2. No cirrhosis
Afro-Carribean descent - I've mostly watched the amount of saturated fat I consume but can't say the same for simple carbs -I drank mostly in my 20s at the weekend and rarely drink now -I'm 5.5" and about 9 stone I had a Fibroscan which showed heterogeneous attenuation of the liver (result of 14.2) then a

Should I be worried?
She has ordered a needle
biopsy
of this lump, and hopes I will have a date within two weeks.

On a rollercoaster
Hopefully my
biopsy
results will be know this week.Sleep has been difficult and Netflix has been a godsend when I wake in the wee small hours. I think I I'm now in denial, surely the consultant got it wrong! This rollercoaster of emotions, waiting and over thing is too much.

Staying on Ibrance & Anastrozole after 2 recurrences
So for the month of September, no Ibrance - just Anastrozole while I received radiation at the recurrence site and also got a lung
biopsy
. The results were that the cancer was so not solid and there was not enough for molecular sequencing nor a ctDNA.
