Happy and grateful goodbye to this forum, I am cured (76 y.o.)
Despite having refused
biopsy
, I had a proof I had Pca at the very end of my story, when my first urologist said to her assistant that it was impossible to believe the first and third MRI belonged to the same person, and that she was, with her boss, absolutely sure of PCa at the time of the first MRI

types of thyroid meds
When I had my
biopsy
, the nurse told me she has good news and bad news, the good news is my nodules are benign but she could not tell me the bad news since she’s not the doctor, so I have been waiting three weeks to see the doctor and he’s either going to tell me to go on medication or remove the thyroid

Apparently these clavicle lymph nodes show up very pale on the scan and are too small to
biopsy
. But, treatment seems to be going well, my attitude has been great…bad diagnosis but there is viable treatment.

feeling abandoned
When they did
biopsy
she said it's inconclusive everything is so vague the neglect is staggering. finally I have had enough I am getting second opinion on Monday and I will pay for my own MRI somehow.

Large Lympe nodes.
Am waiting for
biopsy
results, but concerned what current treatment is out there to resolve the problem. Anyone else with similar issues?

Genetic Testing?
Does anyone have an experience to share about getting genetic testing done on your
biopsy
samples? I'm interested in three tests: (1) a DECIPHER test, (2) a full gene sequencing of tumor DNA and RNA (e.g., at Claris Labs), and (3) the Artera AI analysis of digitized pathology slides.

Fibroids and biopsy
Anyway, I have an appointment to see the gynae, do they automatically do a
biopsy
to check whether the fibroids are cancerous? I know it is a tiny percentage that are, but you always worry you may be in that small minority!

GCA and Ocular TIA (mini stroke)??
I also had a
biopsy
and GCA was confirmed. I didn't have further eye problems until the beginning of my third relapse last November, when the veil reappeared.

Update on FIL -Venetoclax as a Monotherapy, Pancytopenia and Myelodysplasia
So we did get to see a specialist who did a BM
biopsy
and recommended Venetoclax as a Monotherapy as his BM was 50% CLL. We were told it wasn't chemo but the haematologist at this end insists on calling it chemo.

Recently Diagnosed. Overwhelmed.
I was advised that I was a candidate for active surveillance for the next year with periodic PSA checks and another
biopsy
in a year. I saw Dr. Catalona at Northwestern University in Chicago for a second opinion on February 12.

Can I have a moan please????
It seems like they are indicating they do not want to treat the cancers they diagnosed from pictures taken of my body and a
biopsy
. So why offer treatment at appointments and waste both my time , my grandaughters and the clinic staff!!!!!! No wonder the NHs is on its knees.

I’m sure I’ve now got GCA
I was suspected of having GCA 16 months ago when I was diagnosed with PMR ,but the
biopsy
I had after being on 100 mg of pred for two weeks proved negative.
