Upset after consultation
Hi everyone. Sorry for long post but I think it helped me writing this out. I just had a consultation with rheumatologist which didn't go well. I had antibiotics back in Feb and came off the Baricitinib for a week and then was referred for colonoscopy/biopsies. I spoke to helpline and nurse said

High risk treatment - go conventional or experimental?
I thought I'd come aboard and get some feedback. 58 yrs old great health except for Gleason 4+4 = 8, in 3/6
biopsy
cores (one side of prostate). Not sure why they only took 6 cores. PSA 24.1 back in November.

Rheumy asked how they came to that conclusion and if they did a

, allergist and Dermy saw all of my pictures, food diary, normal allergy blood panel and tryptase, supposedly there were positive antibodies? I don’t think i saw them. And believe it’s secondary to Lupus.

Recurrence and Arasec Phase 3
Biopsy
confirms adenocarcinoma. Tomorrow we meet with MO and Arasec coordinators. We'll get treatment plans then. Tonight's question is about PSA numbers. Paul has never had a number above 45. In August his PSA started creeping up from .02 after a 2.5 years ADT vacation and remission.

RA and Microscopic Colitis
But I take immuno suppressants and steroids so am wondering if this maybe affects the results- I also had an endoscopy but was told the
biopsy
was inconclusive for coeliac) Has anyone with RA and Microscopic Colitis decided to follow a gluten free diet and had positive results?

About a year ago I had a fibroscan and a
biopsy
which confirmed F2 fibrosis, the fibroscan score was 12 which is a stage 3 but my hepatologist felt this was elevated because of my high enzymes and the subsequent
biopsy
lowered this to stage 2.

biopsy
says its consistent with IGA neuropathy and mild intestinal fibroids and tubular atrophy. We are supposed to see the doctor Monday to discuss the results.

Help me understand Rheumatologist
Rheumatologist now wants me to have
biopsy
due to ongoing symptoms and to add Alondronic Acid to my medication. I did not have
biopsy
originally due to being on steroids over six weeks and advised would come back negative. Thanks.

1st Bone Marrow Biopsy
I just had my first bone marrow
biopsy
yesterday. I have been dealing with MBL / CLL over the last decade and my count is around 50. I do not really have any symptoms except swollen lymph nodes in the neck and groin. I am 52 years old, quite fit (exercise hard 5 times a week) and work full time.

Report on FNB😞
I recently had a FNB(fine needle
biopsy
) on a mass (13x12mm) in my right thyroid bed, the surgeon in Liverpool gave me the results, which at this present time is confusing me🤔Firstly my blood work shows primary hyperparathyroidism. Bloods taken June 22nd 2023.

Mariscal, whom I met a few years ago at a ZERO 5k in Bakersfield, wants an MRI guided
biopsy
first. Then he can see if there's anything actionable🤔 I then went up to the chemo floor and was able to get seen an hour 1/2 earlier.

Masses detected on both ovaries, CA 125=34. Pain, bloating, and bowel issues. Want me to wait for CT scan and hysteroscopy in one month.
My family in America feel I need to push for a
biopsy
asap, and not wait, any suggestions? Should I go through BUPA, husband's insurance? I don't want to wait if worst case.

Feeling hopeless
Their main concern was the thickened endometrium which they’ve ordered a hysteroscopy and a
biopsy
for. I’m just wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything similar? While I was in hospital I ended up needing morphine to manage my pain.
