Endometrioma biopsy

I’ve just had my surgery for stage 4 endo on Monday. They removed bilateral Endometriomas - I believe one was 7-8cm and the other 3.5cm. I was told they are being biopsied. I didn’t think too much of that and thought perhaps fairly standard.

I’ve now received a letter for a telephone appointment with Gynaecology Oncology CNS.

Does this sound like standard process?

Thanks

I can only say, that I only had a letter, no telephone appointment after endometrioma biopsy. But I don't know what "the standard" is. Might differ. Good luck!
