Yes, Melatonin helps me getting through nighttime , and it helps me fall asleep. . I have taken it the last 5-6 years. I have no side effects. I combine it with my audiobook , as I wake up a couple of times , due to very loud tinnitus. Hope the best for you.

Thankyou... what dose are you taking and at what time

I take 4 mg Melatonin and 1 mg Fast Acting Liquid Melatonin half an hour to 1 hour before bed time. It works best if you are over 55 years old, because you own production of Melatonin decrease with age.

Hi Melatonin isn't available in the UK, but I managed to get some from a supermarket when I was in Helsinki. It does help with sleep but I don't take it anymore cause it was making me feel wierd the following day.

Hi, no nightmares I just felt spaced out, like a slight hungover feeling as if I hadn't sleep well, which ironic realy. I took one 1.9mg tablet before bedtime. I persisted for a month taking it ever other night. I find now that magnesium and breathing exercises helps me to get to sleep but nothing seems to help me back to sleep when I wake with a pounding head and screeming pulsing tinnitus.
