Cranioplasty long term outcomes
Hi everyone I'm new here and newish to the world of cranioplasty. In dec I was hit by a motorcycle. I spent much of Dec in a coma, had right side paralysis, a smashed skull and have lost my left peripheral vision as result. I had an immediate craniotomy and then a cranioplasty in Jan. A synthetic cranioplasty

Mom with shingles...should I be concerned?
Hi, I am a caregiver for my 87 year old mother, who is in good physical health otherwise. She was recently diagnosed with a mild case of shingles. One doctor says no worries, my oncologist says to stay away from her. I really cannot find a definitive answer anywhere. Help? I have not had direct

New Bloods/Lab Results, but not much change? What is going on here?
Hi All, I am, as many know and have been kind help, titrating up on Nature Throid. I'm still on a low dose, 1.25g, taken in splits (upon rising I take 3/4g, and before bed, I take 1/2g). My most recent AUGUST labs just came out and admittedly, they were taken in the afternoon (about 3pm), not fasting

Of all the supplements, vitamins, minerals you've ever routinely taken, what most helped your thyroid, if any?
Hi All, I have been trying to increase my low minerals and blood readings - in my case, Vitamin D, Ferritin, and (I'm debating further intake of) Iodine….And thats all aside from supplements I've taken now for decades like: Krill Oil, Biotin, Magnesium, Tumeric, Zinc, Copper, Don Quai, Evening Primrose

Healing Raynaud's with Niacin
I think that everyone who has Raynaud's will benefit from taking Niacin, 500 milligrams, Twin Labs brand or other quality Niacin. It is available at the Vitamin Shoppe in the US. I take it three times daily, after breakfast, dinner and bedtime. It takes a while to get used to it, but keep a steady flow

Try taking biotin. I'm on methotrexate and my edges were thinning. I started taking nature's bounty biotin 10,000mcg once per day and my hair has really grown and thickened up.

Hypothyroidism courtesy of Lyme Disease. Anyone have natural solutions to the Hypo?
Hi, I'm new in the neighborhood, or as we say in Mexico, la colonia! This is a story of my 11 year old daughter. At the risk of giving too much information (or not enough), I've condensed her story into two versions, short story and novel. For those who would like the complete history please scroll down
