Well have shingles for the third time, although this is considered rare! Seems that treatment for one thing leads to susceptibility to so many other things! Moan finished

High dose biotin
I wanted to have my PCP order the high-dose biotin on Tuesday. They are already using it in France for PPMS, but here it's still in trial phase. And then I saw this article... https://www.uspharmacist.com/article/highdose-biotin-triples-relapse-rate-in-primaryprogressive-ms Good-bye, high-dose biotin

Just done full thyroid test, while still taking B supplement
The private testing company hadn't said to stop supplements, so I carried on with them, as I'd taken them for years, being a vegan, (all the B's and D3). I thought the vitamin tests would show if I'm taking enough, or not enough supplement, in view of the TSH/T4/T3/TPO etc. thyroid results. Now I read

Upcoming blood tests and B complex
I've recently introduced igennus super b complex to my supplement routine. I have an appointment for blood tests this Wednesday coming, thyroid and vitamins/minerals. I've read somewhere that biotin can skew results. Should I stop taking my b complex for a few days before? Thanks Diane 💕 x

Biotin before bloods?
I had bloods taken a couple of days ago and refrained from taking Levo and other supplements for approx 24 hours beforehand. I was wondering if the multivitamin I take will have affected my TSH, folate and antibody results due to the presence of biotin/folate? There is only a small amount of biotin in

DBS for Non-Tremor PD?
Has anyone here with non-tremor dominant PD undergone Deep Brain Stimulation? Did it help w/ balance? Couple of weeks ago, my neurologist suggested DBS to ease the dystonia in my arm and help my balance. This stunned me b/c I had thought that while DBS was good for reducing tremors and dyskinesia

Hair loss
i have recently had my prescription review with the pharmacist at my local medical centre and she lowered my dose of levothyroxine from 125 to 100, since then my hair seems to be thinning drastically. I have recently started taking biotin but have now read that it's not advisable for a thyroid condition

This works for me, maybe it'll help you
Hi all, I'm new to the forum but not to RLS. I've had it, lightly, all my life as has my mother (worse than me). A good few months ago I was lying in bed, with my feet not happy, unable to sleep and I suddenly remembered the pills my mother used to take decades ago. They were called Limb Ease, you could

Finally, an explanation of Parkinson's? Very very important article. Retroviruses.
https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2099/12/31/retrovirus.aspx Hope everybody will get a chance to read this. Immensely interesting, it makes great sense to me. Mentions Lyme disease, mentions methylation. Methylation is related to B1. Mentions antivirals that's what amantadine is. Mentions

AN newby...
Hi guys, I was told I had an AN in July (via post) 4 weeks after an MRI for chronic headaches/migraines. I didn’t get to speak to anyone about it and pretty much had a mental breakdown. I had a scan with contrast 5 weeks ago now and had an appointment with neurologist on Monday. Neurologist said no
