Update to "Feeling Terrible Lately".
Hello all, Well the reason I felt so terrible was because I ended up having Lyme disease.. I ended up seeing my family Dr. as I was starting to feel bad again. I was on antibiotics for 15 days and am doing well now. It got me behind my knee, so I didn't notice it at first. They are areal problem in our

Nails after/with Ibrutinib
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you can have nails after (or in my case still on low dose) Ibrutinib. Almost 4 years on Biotin and on only 140 Ibrutinib a day and my nails are finally growing again. Still lots of ridges and white markings but all one length. This post will probably jinx me! BeckyL USA

Collagen for hair
Collagen supplements - I have been on Ibrance and Letrozole for 7 months now. They appear to be working as my tumor marker has consistently gone down and I feel good. I know that many of you on this site have experienced hair thinning or loss but I had not really noticed that until this past month.

Botox success for dystonia; how long did it last ?… and other ?’s
It’s been a long time since I approached this site. I just got overwhelmed with the summation of the pandemic, the environment, the degradation of our political leadership and my own 20+ years of declining success with living the life of PIGD pd. However I’m faced with an acceleration of the decline

Popular supplement can screw up cancer screening results,
I found this article about Biotin and Cancer interesting . I was taking 10,000 mcg of Biotin to improve my thinning hair, and have stopped taking it today. https://www.glamour.com/story/this-popular-supplement-can-screw-up-cancer-screening-results/amp

Cranioplasty date has been set, any advice gratefully received
So my husbands cranioplasty date has come through for the beginning of August. He is 13 months post his aneurysm surgery which resulted in a massive stroke and craniotomy. He has been home 2 months and is pretty much bedbound. He struggles with sitting balance, in fact I think he would just topple

Blood pressure and heart rate on levo...is GP wrong?
I was recently told to lower levo from 200 to 175 mcg daily based on the following lab results: TSH 0.01 (0.27.-4.2) FT4 24.9 pmol/L (12-22) FT3 5.7 pmol/L (3.1-6.8) BUT back then, I was on biotin and had taken levo about six hours prior to having blood drawn in the doctor´s office (I was not informed

Supplement recommendations refused medication
Hi folks, I saw a private endocrinologist with hopes that I would manage to get medication, unfortunately she has said I do not need to be medicated, I really don’t want to self source that would be my last resort. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any supplements that could help with hair loss,
