A new candidate for abnormal thyroid function
This syndrome causes a sudden weakening of the heart - stress and
bereavement
are quite important contributors. It really is true that one can die of a broken heart - literally. Thyroid function is also disturbed. It is yet another example of how other factors affect thyroid function.

Loneliness - living by myself - holidays -
I went thru a
bereavement
group, went back to working, etc. but this year especially during COVID and being stuck in the house 4 so long has emphasized this. And because COVID has hit me so hard financially I’m trying to keep my head above water.

Hi, I am new to the
Bereavement
Care & Share. I had participated on the PSP group before. My husband John passed September 1, 2020, from PSP so I am relatively new to this. My heart is still very sad and still very tired.

Alex Trebek R.I.P. brought back memories of my mom's death from pancreatic cancer
Though after my mom died, I was grief stricken, I got out of my apartment after a month started attended a
bereavement
group and by May 2016 was working again. I had to do this to keep my sanity.

For those in need of Bereavement Counselling but cannot access it at the moment
You can check with a local Therapist, they generally cover this topic too. You probably won't have face to face counselling but via video call and remember there will probably be a charge for this. Chloe<3

To My PwP Friends
The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and
bereavement
, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares."

Do you feel you have the need for emotional support
Which is separate to
Bereavement
support? I ask this as I am particularly interested to know if you see this a different to or the same as
Bereavement
support. Thank you<3 Chloe

Bereavement & support
I lost my dad to covid in April. It’s surrounding me and all I hear about all day every day is covid / lockdown / quarantine / deaths and illness etc. It’s overwhelming. I’ve been going through a downward spiral of self destruction, binge drinking until I can’t remember things and even lashing out when

Hi everyone I'm struggling to reduce my pred, had to go up to 20mg in Feb after the PET scan to get the flare under control, got down to 15mg and have had to raise again to 17.5mg, probably due to stress and a

Will I or won’t I?
I did the C25k last year, then lapsed after
bereavement
. Then started again, and then again and now I just need a nudge or a push or a shove from someone. I’ve had support before on this forum - from generous people.

Week 1 done!
So I have recently had a
bereavement
of my partner, aged 39, from cardiac arrest. It made me realise how short life is and I decided to take up this challenge to help me get out the house and give me something to focus on.

The end is in site - W8 R2 Done - Toughest yet!
A family
bereavement
meant I left 6 days between W7 R3 and W8 R1 but it was all fine - apart from the leg muscle pain afterwards though- stairs were a big problem! Today I completed R2 of W8 and it was the toughest yet - a combination of tiredness and the heat, even at 7.30am.

REMISSION!
My GP recommended a
bereavement
counselor as losing your health and lifestyle is a huge lose. Work with a team of doctors that speak to each other when possible. All of my doctors are in the same network. It was key when treating me. Resting when that "PMR" feeling starts to take over.

What caused your tinnitus?
For me, it was a combination of the two over an intense six month period (work stress,
bereavement
, family problems, dubious ear syringing). Constant high pitched ringing since then.
