A family bereavement meant I left 6 days between W7 R3 and W8 R1 but it was all fine - apart from the leg muscle pain afterwards though- stairs were a big problem! Today I completed R2 of W8 and it was the toughest yet - a combination of tiredness and the heat, even at 7.30am. My legs were leaden after 10 mins.. Pushed through but I don't think I broke any speed records!! Determined to get to the end. If it doesn't get any cooler, I will be running at 5am I think!
The end is in site - W8 R2 Done - Toughest yet! - Couch to 5K

I'm sorry for your loss, but well done for coming back to this - it's not easy when real life goes on around you.
I also did W8R2 this morning, and yes I was out at 7am and it was boiling hot.... I dread to think what it would be like running later in the day.
The run itself was tough, and like you, I won't be winning any speed records but I got through it. And just think... 4 more runs
Sorry for your loss. And well done for getting back out there. Only 4 more runs to completion. I did Wk8 R1 this morning and it was hard. Delayed going for two days because i knew it would be. But as always, so happy to have done it. Last 5 mins for me were a real slog.
Agree re: heat. Not sure I can get up early enough to beat it. Did see a post on here saying morning cooler than evenings so will try to get out earlier.
