Does anyone know if this might be linked to PMR, 10 years on prednisolone or stress (
bereavement
)? Don't know where I'm going wrong!

Gained 4 stone since shielding & feel miserable
Been through
bereavement
counselling & feeling so much stronger but being alone at home 24/7 (I have a bone marrow disorder which makes me extremely clinically vulnerable) led to comfort eating - Zoom has hidden a multiple of sins! Now, I find myself at 13 1/2 stone. So disappointed in myself.

Liothyronin T3 and sleep
I recently suffered a family
bereavement
and have had disrupted sleep for a few weeks so I know I’ve not averaged anywhere near the daily 7-8 hours sleep I normally get and need. I’m worried this will start adding up over time and lead to other health problems.

Grieving my old life and learning to dance: Adjusting to the bereavement associated with PMR/GCA
This is a post from this forum, posted by Zacsmimi. It expresses wonderfully the struggle we are faced with after diagnosis and as we work through the first year or so. Denial leads to a lack of acceptance - but once you have that acceptance you can progress. "Although I was diagnosed nearly 9 mos ago

Hello Everyone!!! Leaving for a Little While.
A remarkable gift to help us feel happier, more hopeful...to lessen the intensity of change that accompanies the anxiety, sadness,
bereavement
and fear we've lived with during this past year. Signing off now with my love. sophie4

Running Bling & Shoe Porn !
Bought using an Amazon Voucher courtesy of my lovely workmates who had a collection for me following my recent
bereavement
. Also my new Medal Rack which I treated myself to in order to display my running bling, not a lot admittedly but I’m proud of them!

Lockdown Bereavement
For most of us, our
bereavement
didnt happen during a pandemic. If we were lucky enough to have good family and friends to lean on, we had them available to chat to, have a coffee with, go for a stroll, perhaps sit on a park bench and watch the world go by.

Stress - Does it have to be a major incident to cause a flare or can irritating niggles affect us too?
I've often read on this forum moving accounts of people who have experienced setbacks in their illness because of
bereavement
or illnesses in loved ones or other major troubles.

Strange side effects
I was prescribed zopiclon 7.5 after sudden
bereavement
. The first one worked well as I had been awake for days. A couple of weeks later I really needed proper sleep and took another but it was as if my mind was fighting against the tablet and I kept waking up.
