How long do you give new HRT to work?
GP says 3 months. My body feels that's too long, coping with the side effects. Personally I would rather give new HRT 6 weeks to see if that's suiting me. What is the consensus please?

6 week ultrasound no pregnancy identified Hcg 4100
Hi guys. Me again! I know how naive this sounds and need to come to terms with the inevitable but has anyone else found themselves in the position of having a 6 week scan and no baby found but Hcg of over 4100 and it wasn’t ectopic? Having bloods again in 2 days and they’ve told me to continue with the

Things are going well so far. Instead of drinking almost everyday day I’ve been able to use alco free beers most of the time. Drunk twice since NYD. Friday night and last night because it was my birthday… I drank in the house and chose for the first time in years not to go out to the pub to celebrate

at last I've been prescribed some HRT
I have been prescribed oestrogen 2 pumps as well as Utrogestan 100 for a trial of 3 months.I had a small breast cancer 10 years ago so being cautious. is it better to start with just one pump for a week or so ? or do I go straight in with 2 pumps?Your experiences with this are invaluable . thank you.

Early RA
Hello, I'm in a conundrum with blood tests which frustratingly were only taken because I wanted HRT! My CRP is raised but reducing (22-18-15) & ESR also a bit high but coming down over 3 months. I have had an abnormal Anti CCP (10) & above 7 is raised. The RF test was negative. I am generally well

Requesting help with vitamin results - thyroid looks OK
Hi all, After a few years of not having much luck getting my GP to do blood tests, they really took the biscuit a few months ago of only testing TSH and free T4 and not testing T3, even Total T3 at all. When I asked about this, the practice said they are not doing blood tests anymore and were outsourcing

I just wanted to ask Do I need chemically induced menopause injection if I have already started menopause naturally? I'm supposed to have injection and start HRT soon. Seems stupid but i would like to know other opinions. I have stage 4 endo and my uterus and ovaries are stuck to my bowel and this treatment

Thin lining medicated FET
I had my base scan on Thursday on CD11 and my lining is only 7.2mm. I’m a little worried as this is the first medicated FET with 6mg estrogen daily (Elleste Solo 2mg, an HRT drug). Previously I had 2 natural cycle FET and my lining was much thicker 9mm. Since Thursday they have up my dose to 8mg estrogen

PTSD and anxiety after flood
In December my house flooded, we moved to a hotel for a month, caught COVID/bad dose of flu, had daily stress trying to find alternative accom, endless frustration with estate agents and insurance. Now in an apartment, transfering items from the house and been told it will be 6 months till return. I've

Loosing the will to live
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease in 1996. Luckily my GP screened for the antibodies as my T4 was borderline; purely because his daughter had been diagnosed with it. At the time I was passing out all the time, I had developed psoriasis, I had brain fog, depression and a host of other symptoms

Do you think ivf treatment abroad is better and why?
Hi everyone, I would like to get some advice regarding treatments abroad, please. We are with a great private clinic in London, but our last attempt was disastrous. Would you please be able to share your treatment plan or protocol and how it was different from the one received here in Uk? According

Pessary in pessary out this morning and not a great experience
Hi, I don't want to give too much detail and put people off who might find it a useful option but I had to have the pessary removed within two hours. I have a stage two uterine prolapse but my GP said she didn't think I could reverse it with exercises as there is 'significant descent'. I've been

Endometriosis and tooth problems
Hello, I was diagnosed with endo in 2012 and I've had 4 laposcopys, a mirena coil fitted and removal of my left tube and ovary. Since then I've been put on 3 rounds of decapeptyl injections each month, (9 months on and 6 months off) over 4 years and I was only given HRT for my last round of the injections

HRT - decreases B12 levels?
Hi all I posted about abdominal pain/problems in December- got a whole lot of helpful replies. GP sent me for blood tests and scan - all clear thankfully. Seems to have settled now - not sure what caused it or why ok now. Thanks for the advice given. Anyway, my new query - I just haven’t been well

Anyone taking DHEA alongside their prescribed body identical HRT please?
I'm on Evorel Conti and learnt today from a friend that DHEA may benefit me.
