I finally have first Endocrinologist appointment!
The appointment is in just under 3 weeks and I have a few questions. What should I expect? I know to ask for an Ultrasound of my neck as my barium swallow test came back normal, are there any other tests I should request? I genuinely don't know what sort of questions I should be asking, is there anything

Got circumcision on 7th October everything has healed except the frenulum part , i have some caked blood on top of the stitches there but when I try to clean it a little more blood seems to be appearing so I have left it alone , so my question is should I remove the caked blood or should I leave it until

Now going into clinical trials for specific types of cancer, Alpha Tau’s technology shows potential for treating any solid tumor.
Nalakrats posted about this company earlier this year. I wonder what the difference is between Radium 224, which Alpha Tau uses, vs. Radium 223, Xofigo? -or maybe they're using radium 224 instead of 223 due to patent issues?? I also recall seeing a clinical trial, I think in NY?, using Radium 223

Need Advice-Bipolar Androgen Therapy
Looking for some feedback and advice from the amazing Warriors on this board. I wrote about the VERU-111 trial A few weeks ago. We went through the screening process and anxiously awaited the results only to find that my dad‘s blood was damaged in shipping. We had to go through the bloodwork again and

Wiggle Manchester Half Marathon
A fairly standard Manchester morning. Leaden skies, drizzle turning to rain turning to drizzle. A little cool. Very light wind. Masses of people everywhere. Up at 7am. Well, 7.10am. Tummy still full of Lahra’s home-made macaroni cheese, done specially for me. Kit on. I’m wearing my favourite shorts

Swallowing Improvement with Therapy
My wife has had PSP for about 5 years now and is experiencing the classic indicators of the disease. She has a PEG tube, difficulty swallowing and is on a honey thick diet, has difficulty talking, minimal jaw opening and neck movement, and of course no vertical eye movement. She was hospitalized 3 times

Radium-223 treatment in CRPC & presence of Primary Tumor.
New Italian study. Only 44 men, but .... "The presence of the primary prostate tumor seems to play a detrimental role in mCRPC patients undergoing 223Ra treatment in absence of other concomitant anticancer therapy. On the other hand a previous RP might play a protective role." "Discussion" "Radium 223

Medication worries
I suffer from what I think is anxiety, the doctor prescribed me valium but because the feeling of not being with it or I'm losing my mind triggers my anxiety I'm scared to take the pills as they make me feel a bit out of it...ridiculous situation. Does anyone else have similar feelings?

“CLL & Heartburn” ??
Weird question but ... the original way I was diagnosed with CLL was because I was having some very strange “heart burn” type of symptoms. And my doctor did a range of test - thyroid, barium swallow & a CBC - everything came back ok except a small amount of acid reflux in the barium swallow & my WCC

Post 515 hello family members
It has been one helluva week let me tell "YOU" Not me, it is normally not me or she who must be obeyed, but her Uncle. Heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery. Maybe it is not a bypass, and they had to place four stents in his heart. It was at the Mayo clinic and he has good insurance,
