AV node ablation and pacemaker put in
So, I have taken the last resort to ease my dilemma (I’m 85 y. o. woman) and I have the
AV
node
ablation
in a couple of weeks. I have already had a pacemaker put in two weeks ago.
Any comment regarding the above would be much appreciated.

Following my most recent admission a few days ago my EP has told me that I have 3 options; another ablation, which neither he nor I are keen on, change to Amiodorone or have an
AV
node
ablation
(pace and ablate).

AV node ablation
hi all I thought I would let you know I had my
AV
node
ablation
last Friday. If you have read My posts you will realise I was scared silly about it as it is so final. Dr Graham at LGI was amazing as were all the staff. They were so careful to make sure I was as calm as I could be.

Pacemakers
I'm a hand-cycling Paraplegic, about to have a Pacemaker fitted followed by an
AV
Node
Ablation
and interested to hear from any other paraplegic about how they handled the minimum movement of left arm / left pectoral during the 4 to 6 week settling in period for the leads, prior to the ablation

Ablation for atrial flutter - advice?
There seems to be loads out there about
AV
node
ablation
, but little about the kind performed for atrial flutter, and I'm trying to find out as much as I can about people's experiences - anything I should know etc.

My First Pacemaker Followup
Today was my first real follow up with my EP since the fitting of my pacemaker and
AV
node
ablation
done on February 13 and 27th. I have not been feeling 100% although much much better than before all of this.

Guess who's back
I had a successful catheter ablation 8 years ago for persistent afib. I woke up this morning and it's back - unsure yet if it's paroxysmal or persistent, but I'm wondering what my options are. Can you have a second ablation?

Vibration therapy
I have found the Therapulse device to be very effective in managing my RLS. I had a cardiac ablation for atrial fibrillation last week and am now in the three month recovery period, just easing back into normal life, and trying to avoid any triggers for AF. Using the Therapulse never seemed to affect

Hi there, I haven't posted for a while as I successfully came off the prednisolone in January this year (well, I thought successfully).Since then (on March 26th 2024) I had a cardiac catheter ablation for paroxysmal AF, so far so good although recovery has been a bit of a bumpy ride. Mitral Valve Regurgitation & Tricuspid Regurgitation
Hi All, New to the forum, so hello! I just wanted a little advice & reassurance really. I had cardiac ablation for WPW following an episode of SVT a few years ago and had no cardiac issues following that. Recently I attended A&E twice with chest pain, bloods normal but ecg read non specific abnormality

Support please 🙏
At my wits end now. Hoping to get a little reassurance from this amazing group of people. I had a catheter ablation on 16th May first one and have now developed atrial flutter. Which I understand can be common. I have had 2 cardioversions in the last 10 days which both lasted 24 and 48 hours. I'm back

Eye problems following catheter ablation
I am now 10 weeks post catheter ablation.Following the procedure I developed aura migraines daily for around 10 days. The fact sheets explained that this was a possible complication and should rectify itself, which it did and 🤞 I have not had any migraines since. I have now developed a bloodshot patch
