Punctuate Epithelial Erosions
Last Thursday morning I woke at 4am with an extremely painful eye. I figured I must have had a foreign body in there. I promptly fell back to sleep but as soon as I awoke, at about 9a,m I felt the exquisitely painful eye again. My husband and I used my saline drops to flush the eye (over and over again

HELP With mucus :(
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows any home remedies or tricks to help a baby breathe better. My 3 months old little one is having problems breathing (specially at night) we have visited the GP twice regarding this issue and apparently there is nothing I cannot do... which is very frustrating.

Generic URSO & Effectiveness
This is a repost from a PBC patient on the Yahoo forum. It got me thinking about different brands of URSO and their effectiveness. I'm interested in any feedback because I've been on a "generic" URSO for 8 months with no change. My alk-phos fluctuates but has never normalized. Thanks, Stella I was

Take 1 or 2
Hi everyone, for some reason I believe I misunderstood how to take my medication. I thought by starting ocaliva I could stop Urso? From what I've read I am supposed to take both. Looking for help here. Also I feel I've gained weight but no other problems.

Nebuliser with a cold?
I sometimes use a nebuliser with saline, I have a cold at the moment so is it a good idea to keep breathing in moist cold air from the nebuliser? Thanks for any advise. I have severe emphysema.

I NEED GUIDANCE
This will be a long post. My husband has gone from a diagnosis of probable Parkinson's, to Parkinsonism, to Lewy Body Dementia. At the first diagnosis of Parkinson's he was given Carbidopa-Levodopa 25/100 and told to titrate it to 3 pills a day within 3 weeks. I know how stupid that was now. That was

Dragging my feet on starting ocaliva
I was diagnosed in March 2017 (caught by a random blood test during my annual checkup, I’m 49). While i showed initial improvement on Urso, it’s plateau’ed. I feel great, my fibroscan said that my liver was in perfect shape (4.4), my biopsy showed some early damage to my bile ducts consistent with PBC

Treatment plan IVF round 2
So I had my treatment plan today for round 2 ! Lots of changes to the last cycle which I didn't expect. Firstly I have to have a saline solution scan at the end of the month to check to see if my fibroid is affecting implantation !! Fingers crossed it's not ! In the past it's not been an issue. I think

Mixing Methylcobalamin
Hello..I was hoping someone could answer a question for me. I found where B12(methylcobalamin form) could be purchased from Oxford Biosciences. I am just concerned about the storage part. Does the B12 come in a vial where the lid can be popped off and you just add the sterile saline? Is the lid the kind

I am nervous about the flu shot after being so sick up to last week! Since the saline nebules the sputum has gone from looking infectious to clearish through out the day. It's just the mornings that I think "has this not gone?" On the news tonight they are trying to put the fear of God into us by saying

Nebuliser from Lidl?
I was wondering if anyone else has had one of the Sanitas nebulisers from Lidl [pictured]? I previously had a basic handheld plug-in nebuliser because I use saline nebs if I’m ill at home, but it was kind of a pain to have to hold it to my face for the duration of the treatment. I was at Lidl today
