Saline Plus

Hi there shadow4me and I'm afraid I only use Salbutamol sulfate in my nebuliser, not salin plus....but someone will have an answer for you shortly I'm certain. Sorry I can't be of any help whatsoever-typical,lol. Take care.
Hi
If you are more bronchi, and used either a salt pipe or any saline solution with some benefit. You may find the Saline Plus beneficial, salt is a natural lubricant with anti inflammatory properties.
I’am only slightly bronchi, more emphysema.
I used for a month although it helped with the mucus, not sure about any other benefits, i’am still using but only at weekends. It may ward off any forthcoming infection over winter.

Hi. I used saline for a couple of months but it made my chest feel very tight. Since then I have bad reaction to saline. I was in hospital with pseudomonas and pneumonia a couple of months ago and I had to have it. However, the crystal build up was awful and it takes about a week to clear. That said, most people are fine with saline. I was dehydrated so be sure to drink lots. It's an effective way to clear mucus from your lungs but I'm not sure about long term benefits. If you have been offered it, it's probably worth trying. you can always stop if it's not helping.
I have used Saline in conjuntion with my normal combivent and sulbutamol and it does help clear any mucus a lot faster than without it.
Cant say I have had any problems.
Good luck.
Winnie
Yes and it does make a difference.
