Feeling low
Today I am not even a week into the TWW and given I am “only” on my second IUI I know my journey isn’t as hard as others. That said that seems to be a battle I’m having at the moment ... “It’s only the beginning” “others have been through so much more than me” but on the other hand “I don’t feel ok”.

Newbie!
Hi everyone, I am new to this network and haven’t joined an online forum before. Just thought I’d share my story so far, as support and advice during the low times always helps. I’m 35 and will have been married for 5 years this August. We’ve been trying TTC for 3 and a half years now. About 2 years

2nd IUI tomorrow
1st IUI 14th Feb, BFN 28th Feb Tomorrow brings our second IUI... it’s been a funny old month and seems to have gone quickly. I feel in a much more positive frame of mind and going into this one with a fairly different attitude. Trigger today and in at 4pm tomorrow then comes the TWW fun 🙈😫

Confused and deflated - a long message and an update!
Hi ladies, I've been reading through your posts for close to a year and am immensely grateful to this group. I feel like I'm losing my mind and all hope so I'm going to be pretty direct - I have a feeling most of us have been here a time or two. I've been through 6 IUI cycles, last and current one with

Hello
I’m having IUI treatments, starting hormone injections for my 3rd cycle today and having a bit of a wobbler, it’s been a bit of an emotional roller coaster over the last 3 years and today it’s been difficult to gear myself up and stay positive so I searched fertility support and found this app! 💜

FSH
I have had further bloods taken (FSH) and my results back. ‘Unfortunately your FSH level is greater than 15 mIU/ml. Your level was 16.8 mIU/ml. Dr Nair has informed me that according to your phone consultation on 4/3/19, she would not advise stimulated IUI if your FSH level was above 15 mIU/ml.’

Feeling totally unprepared😳
So today was my first scan. They skipped the first one as my period arrived on a Friday afternoon and I just started taking the Letrozole without one. Today I went in to check follicle growth and lining and all looked great and now I’m only to have the blooming IUI in the morning. I thought I’d have

It wasn’t our time!
Just received the call from my hcg bloods this morning, it’s a negative after 2ww. It’s ok... I knew deep down it would be after how I’ve been feeling the last few days. It is what it is and it’s only the start of a journey, as our first IUI and o know it could be a much longer road ahead. I keep my

OTD Thursday
Driving myself insane... have back cramps/aches stomach pains and feel like AF is on the way. Not a single ounce of spotting which I have every month that’s the only different thing. Test day Thursday 2 weeks after first IUI I think I might combust. I’m prepared for bad news and just want it over and

Here’s to moving forward!!
So after our second IUI which ended in a BFN after 4 positive pregnancy tests it’s time to move forward. We had our appointment with our FS today to go over everything and sign the consents for full IVF. Apparently due to a shortage of donor sperm she has decided to go straight to ICSI to increase

Thinking about starting IVF, 6 months after lap for stage IV endo but pain is back
I was having a little moment feeling very overwhelmed and alone, but reading some posts on here really helped so thought I'd share my story so far. I was diagnosed with endometriosis 4 years ago but the consultant, I later found out, wasn't a endo specialist. They removed a 12cm cyst and endo and never

IVF for Hackney Singleton with Stage IV endo and adenomyosis
Hello beautiful brave sisters. I'm trying to save for IVF as a single woman as given up on trying to get an answer from Hackney CCG. They said I have to pay for 6 rounds of IUI before being considered for IVF, but I've been told by London Women's Clinic that IUI won't work and they won't do it on me,

Absolutely devastated!! 😓
When the clinic starts the call with. “I’m sorry it’s not good news I’m afraid” OH and I are completely shattered especially when we were over the moon on the weekend after two positives on HPT’s. The clinic asked if we wanted to try another IUI back to back or have a meeting with The dr and go for

Hashimotos and pregnancy
Hello I am wondering if anyone has experience of trying for a baby with a hashimoto diagnosis? I am looking to begin iui later this year. My thyroid tsh is well under control at 0.87. My antibodies were 1,300 and I've managed to get them down to 166 (should be under 30). I've read a lot of stories about

Progynova results
Hi all I thought I’d share a brief experience of taking progynova as I was desperately researching before I had to start my protocol and really wanted answers regarding side effects. I was terrified they’d make me balloon in weight and send me crazy. Here are my findings, I appreciate they’re different

Sex during IUI 2WW
As some of you may know my OH is a T6 paraplegic so when we have intercourse it’s with his fingers and toys etc. (sorry if TMI).... but anyway yesterday things got heated and we had sex a couple of times. Now I’m feeling guilty. Did we ruin our chances? We are now 8DPO and insemination. Our clinic

IUI after IVF
Hello everyone, After failed implantation of my last 2 embryos, we are trying an IUI cycle. Have my baseline ultrasound and start letrozole today. We tried IUI prior to IVF but had to cancel due to follicles stalling. Any success stories?? Looking for some inspiration!
