Hello beautiful brave sisters. I'm trying to save for IVF as a single woman as given up on trying to get an answer from Hackney CCG. They said I have to pay for 6 rounds of IUI before being considered for IVF, but I've been told by London Women's Clinic that IUI won't work and they won't do it on me, so seems like a pointless waste of £8K no? Might as well go straight to paying for IVF? I wanted to try to argue that they should let me go straight to IVF as I have stage IV endo and adenomyosis and consultants have said I can't have IUI, anyone else in the same position? Xxx

Hi Belles. Just wanted to wish you well with this, and I would appeal the CCG's decision and see whether you can get some help. Thinking of you. Diane
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply Diane, I've just joined this after a rough few days and I must say everyone's strength and kindness have lifted my spirits no end I've managed to get a referral to see a fertility specialist on nhs and if they say IUI isn't an option I'll definitely try to challenge the CCG. I've got a friend at health watch who's said he'll help me if it comes to it. Wishing you a lovely day xxx
