FSH

I have had further bloods taken (FSH) and my results back.

‘Unfortunately your FSH level is greater than 15 mIU/ml. Your level was 16.8 mIU/ml.

Dr Nair has informed me that according to your phone consultation on 4/3/19, she would not advise stimulated IUI if your FSH level was above 15 mIU/ml.’

What exactly does she mean? Before Christmas my FSH was 22. I’m really confused as to what’s happening.

Could this be anything to do with me taking DHEA? I was advised through forums that this would help fertility. I’ve also been taking Pregnacare.

I had gone back to the clinic for bloods to be take again as I wanted the Dr to prescribe me a weeks chlomid as my GP won’t but it looks as though they won’t do it.

I really want to have a baby and I’m worried they are telling me I can’t.

Is there any one that can tell me otherwise or understands a little more the above results?

Thank you x

Hey, I hope things go well for you. They are not telling you, you can t conceive. You can definitely conceive. There is just a little problem that they have discovered that can be improved. Therefore, ask your doctor to really explain the issue properly. Maybe get a second opinion on this as well. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust your way.

Taking dhea and wheatgrass are both supposed to bring down your fsh. Mine was 22.5 2 and a half years ago and it is now between 10 and 14 which is good news. Keep up the dhea and look into wheatgrass maybe?xx
