IVF for Hackney Singleton with Stage IV endo and adenomyosis

Hello beautiful brave sisters. I'm trying to save for IVF as a single woman as given up on trying to get an answer from Hackney CCG. They said I have to pay for 6 rounds of IUI before being considered for IVF, but I've been told by London Women's Clinic that IUI won't work and they won't do it on me, so seems like a pointless waste of £8K no? Might as well go straight to paying for IVF? I wanted to try to argue that they should let me go straight to IVF as I have stage IV endo and adenomyosis and consultants have said I can't have IUI, anyone else in the same position? Xxx

Hi Hackney girl, I’m in Newham 👋🏻. I’d be really interested in finding out what you learn about this; as I might be in a similar situation. I agree wouldn’t the 8k be better spent on I.V.F. Itself??

Hi Newham chick! I'll deffo do a post if I find anything out, it's all on pause atm as they think it's back again or maybe something colon related so got to wait for colonoscopy and MRI before looming further into IVF Xx

There’s no rush! I have to lose weight and be referred to an Endometriosis specialist before I can move forward.
