Naproxen now a no no
Hi everyone - my hip osteoarthritis kicks in occasionally & is terribly painful. Naproxen used to do the trick but as I am now on Apixaban that is off limits. Can anyone suggest an alternative please (paracetamol only helps a little) ?

Just need to talk with someone that is going through similar arthritis experience really. I have psoriatic arthritis (every #$%^ing part of me) which I know is different from RA but the drug treatments are the same pallet. Last Monday I had a call with a Rheumatology consultant, I just couldn't drag

I’m not sure!
I’m not sure. Sorry. And I am off methotrexate I have been good for 4 years so about 18 months they took me off it and have been good. I only take arthritis Tylenol. Fingers crossed that it stays that way and you get in remission too.

Thankyou for letting me join this group. I was diagnosed last week after suffering terrible swollen joints and pain, my GP had sent me for bloods. Was told probably a virus. My ESR came back at 43 (???) and i was then fast tracked to the early arthritis clinic. I saw a doctor who looked at my hands and

Does osteoarthritis affect the smaller toes of the foot?
Having been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in 2015 . For several years both of my feet have been achy as well. Just this year I’ve noticed more that my smaller toes are very achy. I’m just wondering if osteoarthritis affects the smaller toes of the foot. Or is it just the big toe? Having mentioned in

Chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis
Does anyone else on this site have such severe RA that they are almost house bound and have great difficulty walking? If so, how do they manage from day to day and what medication/s have been the most helpful?

GCA worries
My GP has now been treating me for PMR and, according to her Temporal
arteritis
/GCA symptoms for about 3 weeks now but I’ve had symptoms on and off for some time. I’m almost 50 and have always been healthy apart from having Sjogren’s syndrome for about 3 years.
