Hi, I 've recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and been off work a month as I have grade 4 arthritis to and sacral joint dysfunction, still having tests for other conditions, spiralling depression as I was coping, but this pain and everything that goes with it is making me feel useless and hopeless

Hi

First, welcome to this wonderful forum.

I really feel for you. I too have many conditions. I have an hour or less sleep per night due to pain. Is your Dr supportive? I had to take ill health retirement last year but I had wonderful support all round, my boss was and still is brilliant. Everyone on here are great. Please take care of yourself Lynne

Hi Lynne

Thanks for your kind message, bad day I'm afraid slept most of it, tried having a normal day yesterday, but paying now. Supposed to return to work next week my choice Dr wanted me off at least 3 months til I was managing this condition better. I have just been promoted at work and so worried I'm failing I just don't know what to do. Does it get better Lynne ?

I've had fibro for 2 years , I'm hoping the steroid injections work, I'm praying that they do. I get an hour or less sleep per night due to pain as I have many conditions causing pain. Please take care of yourself. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

I’ve been off for the last 2 weeks due to a fibro flare. Starting to ease now fingers crossed. GP’s now have me down as a problem patient I think so are generally not helpful other than pushing drugs I don’t want to take. Desperate to get back to work also as I’ve had so much time of this year and worried about them trying to force ill health severance on me which doesn’t help. Take care xxx

Works a real worry isn't it on top of just trying to get on top of pain and fatigue and leading a normal life. I'm starting to make life style changes......again and starting with vibration plates apparently this can really help, have you tried them?
