Radiotherapy Roulette
Right enough of this holiday malarkey and back to the business in hand. At my last visit to my oncologist she advised me that I should have 3 or 4 rounds of radiotherapy. When I met with the radiotherapist she said that I would get 13 to 15 rounds of palliative treatment to alleviate symptoms. These

Injury on the knees
While rushing on a busy crossing in the city I fell down on the tarsealed street. The skin on both my knees ripped tearing through my stockings and bones were exposed. I applied antiseptic cream and plaster but the next day I am unable to bend my knees and very painful walking. Thick blood oozes out

Sores......
I suffer with SLE Lupus, underactive thyroid and chronic pelvic pain. Just recently I've had a sweat rash underneath my tummy. I'm now wondering if it's a lupus flare instead. I've had it now for about 3 weeks and no cream seems to be helping with it at all. I went to my doctor last week he didn't

Advice please: prescription emollients
So far,
Aqueous
cream
doesn't work for me...I react to something in it....probably the ingredient sodium lauryl sulphate which is so damaging that the UK national eczema society recommends
aqueous
cream
never be used as a leave on moisturiser.

What emollient creams help most (e.g. Cetraben etc)
(
Aqueous
cream
doesn't work for me...I react to something in it....and both a.c. and cetraben are paraffin based....so am thinking I may not tolerate cetraben)

Will I be put on meds for discoid lupus?
Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me what will happen now that I have been diagnosed with discoid lupus? I have a lot of mild symptoms of SLE but my ANA test was negative. I was given Elocon cream and told to return to dermy in 6-8 weeks. I wasn't given anything for my other symptoms though. Feeling confused

Pressure Stocings
I first contracted cellulitus way back in 2001 which was my last visit to stay with friends in Malawi who I used to visit every year in December/ January time. It was then that my left leg was infected resulting in cellulitus which eventually developed in to Lymphodoema in both legs. Unfortunately there

Hello , I've joined this forum in the hope of a solution to my current skin problem. I've had an itchy , sometimes spotty , forehead , scalp area including my eyebrows for a while now.
