Covid meds
Covid dispatch team just rang asking if I wanted to be prescribed
antiviral
treatment
or if I feel my immune is fighting it? Sorry but how the heck do I know that??? I said I'm terrified given I'm still living with long covid from 2019. She said the meds have no impact on long covid.

Your 'teeth and gums' could be CAUSING your PD!
Even though I had the last of my mercury fillings removed a few months ago... and a root canal on another tooth... I know I need additional dental work that I've been putting off... until I read this:

possible to improve C Telopeptide Serum blood test for risk of osteonecrosis?
Hi, about 5 months ago I took myself off the Xgeva bone drug after being on it about 2 years or so. This was after learning I couldn’t be on it and also have the dental work done that I need to have done (cavitations etc). My personal feeling after doing research over the years is that I’m not able

Learning to live with PMR
My PMR started with strange stiffness, as if I'd been riding a horse, around the hips and buttocks in April/May 2022. I ignored it as far as possible, trying physio with no success. It was when I did the Dales Way in Yorkshire in June/July that I realised my fatigue, slowness and trouble getting over

Have been on 3 mg for 12 months but Rhuemy has upped me to 5mg explaining about ardrenals and hopes this will fully wake them up. To reduced to 4mg in 8 weeks and then down

Am I at risk of having too much calcium in my blood?
diagnosed Sept. 21 now tapered to 2 mg. in the summer I was informed that I would require some dental treatment, possibly an implant. After speaking to my dentist about the risks involved, as I was taking Alandronic acid, which I have always disliked taking, I decided for better or worse (and especially

Covid question
I’m at the final three months of V
treatment
so was advised to start the
antiviral
Paxlovid on day 4. Diarrhea was unbearable so only used Paxlovid one day and quit. Ventoclax cannot be taken with Paxlovid so I was off it for 7 days.

Antiviral treatment
Following my recent post, I had a phone call yesterday morning from a doctor at our local hospital to assess my need for the treatment. Yes, I needed it but unfortunately the tablets were not suitable because of an existing medication so I needed the infusion. Unfortunately, they had no more appointments

Please be careful out there.
I’ve come back with the dreaded disease and have shared it with my partner now 😞 I was obliged to contact the Health Board and was supplied that day with an
antiviral
drug
treatment
. The point I’m clumsily trying to make is don’t let your guard down. I’ve slipped up badly and am paying in spades.
