Antiviral treatment
Following my recent post, I had a phone call yesterday morning from a doctor at our local hospital to assess my need for the treatment. Yes, I needed it but unfortunately the tablets were not suitable because of an existing medication so I needed the infusion. Unfortunately, they had no more appointments

I have enclosed a picture of the cohort selected for at home

. The main thing I got back from all of the investigation is that no one will go without if they require the medical intervention.

Conclusion: Covid makes you ill if you’ve got an MPN but
antiviral
treatment
seems to help so request it. Be ready to speak to lots of people and remember to say you’ve got a ‘blood cancer’ as not many people seem to know about MPNs.

Really bad DEXA scan result
Hi folks, I've not posted in a while but have used the time wisely - more about that later. You may remember I was being railroaded into a Zoledronic acid infusion without having a DEXA scan first-the GP insisted I'd need the infusion anyway after being on high dose Prednisolone for more than a year
