Any tips for Natural Modified FET (boost lining)?
Hi everyone, I have a persistent thinnish lining (around 6 to 7mm) after an episode of abnormal bleeding between periods (turned out to be silent endo and a polyp that did not show up on ultrasound). Before that, 11mm was my average. After failing a recent FET, my doctor decided to monitor my lining

Hello All,We went through our first cycle of IVF in Jan and we are planning our next round in July. The first round we went in very naively and rather blind in terms of body/mind preparation. I have tried to guide myself as much as I can but I wondered what you could add to what I am doing. I am on

Hi everyone, I wonder if I can please get some help. I’ve been experiencing widespread body pain for c.3 years. I initially put this down to the menopause and earlier this year I started to focus on my under active thyroid - I’m not yet optimally medicated for that (takes a while). In May I decided

Polymyalgia and Rheumatoid arthritis
I was diagnosed with PMR in June 2014. Over a period of about 7 years I managed to come off prednisone but after a time the PMR returned. Since 2022 I have managed to get down to 7mg daily and then have a flare. Back to 10 down to 8 and another flare. I live in France and it seems PMR is not as common

High B12 - more tests needed?
My SO has several anaemia symptoms - pallor, breathlessness, fatigue, dizziness, nausea etc. GP says the bloodwork is OK despite family history of PA. Blood tests (GP & Medichecks) so far show haemoglobin & MCH a bit below range, haematocrit & MCH low but in range. Serum B12 is consistently high (latest

Folic Acid does not cause PA
I saw this article with responses about the consumption of folic acid. What do people think about the responses? Especially the one who says that there shouldn't be a limit to the amount of folic acid taken. https://www.bmj.com/content/329/7479/1376/rapid-responses I have been taking 5mg folic acid

So girding my loins, GP's in morning,
So have an appointment with GP at 11 am tomorrow. Now this was supposed to be about pain/discomfort ? RA. Of course they are bit sneaky and lots of other tests were included, but we aren't daft are we, we check first. So Thyroid bloods , TSH 0.01 (0.27-4.20) FT4 21.6 (12-22) as usual no FT3

Bit old fashioned...
I discovered that a castor oil pack really helps with knee pain. It's horrible sticky oil, but it works topically (for me at least). I have bad memories of this stuff from my childhood. Any hint of sickness and out came the bottle. I would not recommend injesting it! 🤮 it's better than the deep heat

positive then negative intrinsic factor
hi guys, I had a positive intrinsic factor blood test back in April and this was before any b-12 injections. Since then, the doctors have wanted to do two other intrinsic factor blood tests and both came back negative and the doctors are confused why is this? Thanks, Ella (:

Dry eye syndrome - and castor oil!
Some weeks ago someone posted they were using castor oil for dry eyes. I was rather sceptical that that was a good idea - it sounded as if they were putting it IN their eyes. Anyway - today I got a notification of this study of castor oil as a potential natural remedy for dry eyes: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com

Learning and Careers with B12 Anemia
Hi everyone, I wanted to know what everyone studied and does for a living here. I am feeling down because I have not done well with college and keeping a job because of my anemia. I just want to know if anyone else went thru that, still is dealing with that, and/or is able to live a normal life. I

My Tumour is shrinking
I am at the end of chemo cycle. In August my tumour was 1cm after I had the MRI. So 80% removed from right side of my brain. I have gone to 1cm to 1.5cm. In the three MRI's. My latest one has shunk so much I think it is now a 1/4 in size, comparing August mri to this mri. I am so pleased. I have

one last question ( hopefully)
I have finally managed to get an appointment with my GP where I hope to convince him to give me B12 injections more often that once every 8 weeks and I never had a loading doses so am hoping for that too. I hope I can get him to do some tests, like size shape and number of red blood cells, intrinsic
