Help, just been to GP and suspects I have Fibromyalgia.
GP offered
antidepressants
but I have declined at the moment, I need to be able to function as on 'standby ' all the time.

Neurological discomfort.
Suggestions of Diet, supplements, exercise and now
antidepressants
have so far not helped. Acupuncture has been suggested. Has anyone any positive suggestions or experiences that might help me?

I would strongly say, do you think that
antidepressants
are going to make that go away? Maybe getting some positive strength into your environment might help. An attitude of this needs to be done, sitting on my hands and crying is not helping me at all. I am not saying to “YOU”, never cry.

No More Prednisone
I gained weight and subsequently became depressed ( this was scary stuff), had a stomach ache which was awful but was relieved by eating (more weight gain), but the worst thing was the insomnia. On top of the prednisone I was taking medication for ulcer type pain, an antidepressant and sleeping pills

Now what?
For the last six months I've been treated for depression and anxiety with
antidepressants
and physical therapy. Both have been successful in managing suicidal tendencies and anxiety. I wake up, I get stuff done, I eat and sleep, but I'm not feeling well.

Got the courage to take an antidepressant and then landed in the ER. Anyone else have this issue? I’m scared to try another one if needed.
I finally attempted a antidepressant and ended up going out by an ambulance and spending the day in the ER. Fast racing heart rate and chest redness and all from a very low dose of escitalopram 2.5mg since I am sensitive to meds I was started on a low dose. I had waves all night and zaps in my head from

Trying but always failing.
Hi, I'm new to this site, never really used anything like this just talked to myself and wrote a journal to see if it would help. It didn't, or I'm just doing it wrong. It's my life that I'm trying to save or should I say, to be here longer people don't understand why I still smoke, its like a antidepressant

Pain in abdomen at 17 weeks
She also takes
antidepressants
mainly for anxiety but also depression. She is struggling with pain at the moment and I'm frustrated because I can't help. The baby seems low and is "bouncing" on her bladder which isn't nice and some of the time she feels this is causing her pain.

Fluoxetine
Anyone struggle with increased anxiety right after starting new antidepressant? I started fluoxetine Sunday and yesterday and today my anxiety is through the roof. I read online it’s normal but wanted to hear others experiences with it.

Dr says Adderall is a short term use medication only
Hi! I am brand new here. Diagnosed at 48 with ADHD after my 9 yo daughter was diagnosed. I recognized her issues right away but not my own until she was formally diagnosed. My dr prescribed adderall 20mg and it has been amazing! I have been taking since May 2019 and it has been life-changing. My self-esteem

Just Wondering!
Hope everyone is well and staying warm! I was just wondering, I have a couple of different issues and have an appointment with a Private Pain Specialist today. I have Chronic Painful Bladder Syndrome, Bladder Reflex, Kidney Reflex and a Duplex Kidney on my left side. This causes me to get CONSTANT UTI's

Symptoms of lupus???
I eventually went to see my GP and was prescribed
antidepressants
. My physical health was also deteriorating - sudden weight loss, insomnia, joint pain, headaches and a multitude of others. I did my own research and felt certain all my problems were linked to low Estrogen and my age.

Medication victory ❤️
I am living proof of this because I have always had ADHD but was never medicated... instead in high school I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression and have taken
antidepressants
for the past 16years.
