Blood Thinners & Anti-Anxiety Meds
Hello, I have followed many of your posts and threads and they have brought comfort to me in my times of difficulty. THANK YOU. I had an ablation 11 months ago, for SVT, they went in thinking it was A-fib. Healing was slow, but pretty good overall. I have been on Eliquis since 2018. My question to you

I'm new here and to AF
Hi all, I was diagnosed with AF about a month ago. At the time I had fast AF with symptoms and a heart rate around 200 bpm. I have been put on beta blockers and blood thinners. The drugs seem to have controlled by heart rate but I still don't feel well. I get breathless very easily and this also seems

Worse at night
So I have heart disease, I had a heart attack 2017 followed by a quadruple bypass. I'm 53 and work 24 hours a week. I went back to work following rehab, but last year suffered a minor heart attack, now being treated with blood thinners. So the worry is that I am going to have another event, my husband

Bruising and blood thinners
Hi all. Went rock climbing 10 days ago. Bashed my left leg a bit and of course on aspirin and clopidogrel the bruises are magnificent. The photo isn’t very good but the whole of my lower leg is green. Not unusual in those drugs but the bruises are still sore and don’t seem to be getting better. Has anyone

Confused about blood thinners and hosp...
I was diagnosed with P-Afib last June (when my heart went bananas at rest after a high intensity gym session and too much caffeine). I've always had ectopic beats but this was regarded as normal so I didn't worry. I was so upset and worried about P-Afib and had a thorough set of tests which ruled out

Watchman implant
I had cryoablation last April. Initially continued metoprolol and discontinued warfarin. My specialist suggested having the Watchman implant which I chose not to do. Five months later, after what I felt was a short afib episode, my md put me back on a dose of Coumadin. Has anyone had the Watchman implant

Rivaroxaban dosage.
As I suffer from AF, my cardiologist prescribed Rivaroxaban blood thinner to help prevent stroke. Dosage was 20mg daily. I've been on this for about two years. A couple of months ago I noticed that my dosage had been reduced to 15mg. I called my GP surgery and was advised that as my routine blood tests
